Who tf is Eli's mother? He had to have been born during s6 or within a year after considering that the movie takes place 15 years after the end of s6 and Eli was minimum 14 years old (he couldn't legally drive I'm pretty sure) considering he was in HS. His mom can't be Braeden (that boy is whiter than me and I'm a pale mf), and she's Derek's last known partner, and there was no fucking way Eli was adopted (Derek was demonstrably not in a place for adopting a kid by the end of the show) so where did this boy come from????

The movie is actually set 15 years after the start of season 1, which makes it 2026. The idea was that Eli was already conceived before season 1 started. So it was likely an unknown woman from New York where Derek and Laura were living since the fire.

And the reasoning for not mentioning Eli the whole time was that either Derek didn't know he was a dad, or Beacon Hills was such a hellscape and he didn't trust anybody for a long time, so he wasn't gonna be telling anybody about his vulnerable infant son.

S1??? Bro Jeff Davis implied on Twitter that stiles could be Eli's other parent (which like Jeff leave sterek fans alone and wtf?) which would be ridiculous in its own right, but setting it so that Eli would've been born already?? He's supposed to have grown up in beacon hills for his WHOLE life and Jeff is pulling this????

Yep. The movie was legitimately set in 2026.

And Eli couldn't have lived in Beacon Hills the whole time because they heavily implied that Eli never met Stiles, with the way the Sheriff was talking to Eli about his son.

I dunno. That movie was so flimsy. It's no surprise that Paramount bought JD out of his contact. I barely wanted this movie, let alone two more. Hell no.
