( cis woman | she/her | im jinah ) —— isn’t that MISOOK “IRIS” JANG (VALENTINE)? yeah that is them, outside the three broomsticks! they used to go to YINHE LUO JIUTIAN but apparently they now work as a PRIVATE GARDENER at the FRENCH WIXEN EMBASSY. sybill once said that they reminded her of humming an aged nursery rhyme to help the troubled child sleep peacefully , bundled wraps of sage to get rid of any evil influence , realizing that love is a necessary tragedy , scattered rose petals along two unmarked graves  which seems about right. anyway i’ve heard they’re still a bit MATERNAL, SENSITIVE, and IDEALISTIC, they’re THIRTY now but some things never change! i wonder how being a MUGGLEBORN is affecting them after school, especially now they’re an ASSOCIATE with THE DEATH EATERS? i guess only time will tell…

     there  weren’t  many  places  that  rendered  iris  almost  speechless  with  its  beauty  .  with  the  breeze  brushing  against  her  unclothed  skin  ,   bits  of  nostalgia  was  able  to  creep  into  her  being  and  think  of  home   -  or  at  least  some  kind  of  euphoric  version  of  it  that   bore  little  resemblance  to  the  actual  reality .     it  also  reminded  her  of  the  grounds  she’d  wander  when  she  should  have  been  studying  ;  afternoons  wasted  with  classmates  and  others  like  the  male  that  sat  next  to  her  .  ❝  it’s  peaceful  out  here  , ❞  she  says  with  a  gentle  hum  as  a  hand  brushes  along  the  patch  of  grass  they  sat  on  .  the  serenity  is  calming  to  an  extent  but  it  could  have  also  have  been  the  result  of  the  company  sat  next  to  her  .  with  him  ,  there  was  no  act  to  uphold .  ❝  there’s  not  many  places  here  that  are  this  quite  .  but  i  don’t  think  you  ever  really  minded  that  --   ❞  the  purpose  of  their  visit  here  was  to  show  him  new  places  he  hadn’t  been  able  to discover  on  his  own  and  iris  would  willingly  take  credit  for  being  the  worst  tour  guide  ever .

          it  was  an  impossible  task   to  even  be  mad  at  aiyla  when  the  bill  is  paid  for  at  the  chaste  kiss  on  her  cheek  .   instead  ,  that  very  giddy  smile  reserved  for  her  sisters  finds  itself  back  on  her  lips  as  she  looks  back  to  her  adopted  sister .  ❝  that’s  because i  take  great  pride  in  being  the  heart  of  the  trio  .  hassana’s  the  soul  ,  of  course  .  and  you  ?   the  protector .    ❞

       she  holds  the  coin  pouch  for  another  moment  ,    lips  only  pursed  slightly  as  iris  contemplates  paying  anyway  but  decides  that  his  own  sanity  was  something  worth  putting  it  away  .  ❝  only  because  i  know  you’d  be  driven  mad  otherwise . ❞  it  was  always  nice  catching  up  with  friendly  company  like  axel  ,  especially  when  he  told  her  tales  of  his  ventures  as  the  lead  guitarist  .  ❝  but  we’re  still  meeting  for  brunch  sometime  soon  again  ,  correct  ?   partly  the  reason  why  i even  offered  to  pay  was  for  the  promise  of  a  next  time  .  ❞
