winsletโs parents met at dillon university & were college sweethearts. they moved to dallas after college but winsletโs grandparents still lived in dillon so sheโd visit them a lot on weekends & school breaks.ย her parents tugged her in different directions โ her dad wanted her to play music, but her mom wanted her to be a cheerleader โ so she did both, bouncing between practices and lessons.ย
head cheerleader and student body president, winslet had everything going for her โ until her dad died in a gas station robbery when she was 16, with her as the witness. everything went downhill for her after that. she began experimenting with drugs, sex, parties. after getting arrested for a minor shoplifting charge when she was 17, she was sent to live with her grandparents in dillon & finish the rest of high school there. that didnโt stop her reckless behavior, & she went to rehab the summer before college.
went to dillon bc it was really her only option !! still doesnโt feel at home & is ready to get as far as she can from texas the second she graduates.
sheโs still a huge partier, will never admit that she has a problem, will deny it till the day she dies. sheโs what some would call, the life of the party, and can act like a fool...but in the way thatโs almost cool & ppl fuck with it
somehow worked her way up to being cheer captain ?? in between partying and music, she dedicates a lot of her time to cheer. it started off as her trying to please & her mom but sheโs grown to really love it !!
