Draco Malfoy grew up as an only child at Malfoy Manor, the magnificent mansion in Wiltshire which had been in his family’s possession for many centuries. From the time when he could talk, it was made clear to him that he was triply special: firstly as a wizard, secondly as a pure-blood, and thirdly as a member of the Malfoy family. 

Draco was raised in an atmosphere of regret that the Dark Lord had not succeeded in taking command of the wizarding community, although he was prudently reminded that such sentiments ought not to be expressed outside the small circle of the family and their close friends ‘or Daddy might get into trouble’. In childhood, Draco associated mainly with the pure-blood children of his father’s ex-Death Eater cronies, and therefore arrived at Hogwarts with a small gang of friends already made, including Theodore Nott and Vincent Crabbe.

Much of Draco’s behaviour at school was modelled on the most impressive person he knew – his father – and he faithfully copied Lucius’s cold and contemptuous manner to everyone outside his inner circle. Having recruited a second henchman (Crabbe being already in position pre-Hogwarts) on the train to school, the less physically imposing Malfoy used Crabbe and Goyle as a combination of henchman and bodyguard throughout his six years of school life.

𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑

after the untimely victory of voldemort, there was no way out of him winning any of this. his choice to stay with the death eaters was mostly for protection than anything else, he knew what he had done &. nothing in the world would change that. though there was a brief moment where he did something good or something someone would qualify as good. 

hermione granger had seemed to fallen right in his aunt’s grasp once again &. even if part of him didn’t understand why every time she was in danger there he was trying to make it better, when no one would ever see him as anything else. helping hermione escape the stern grip of his aunt was something that even shocked him. there was very different thing saying something &. doing it. yet he help hermione giving her the freedom she so rightfully deserved &. for a moment he could have had the same freedom, escaping with her but what life could he really have running while right here he had everything he could ever want, everything but freedom &. happiness.

𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑   ,    𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄.·

      No one would ever believe this to be true . No one would believe this to be happening if someone were to recognize them and tell . Laugh at the thought and think it was a joke . She hated the state of the word today . She hated that just because she was a muggle-born they looked at her differently . She was easily worth 10 purebloods . She was clever and could out spell anyone she came to face over the years . 

       But right now– as he kissed her back once more , returning it ,  the world was all heat and electricity, thick with tension that was only one spark away from exploding around them . She wrapped her arms around his neck, and who drew him closer . Pressing her body against his when her back hit the cold concrete wall . It was just them and nothing else mattered . This was dangerous as hermione could feel herself being lost with him . 

      Once he pulled back the first time to speak , hermione wanted nothing more than to return the hunger she felt for him . Smiling as the only thing she was aware of and could hear was him and the pounding of her heart as she tried catching her breath . “– You should have done it sooner .” She replied without hesitating before he kissed her once more . There was a fierceness in his kiss, a desperation … and she answered, just as hungry for him. Part of her was shocked at how eagerly her body responded to him . 

       She wanted this to last . But she knew this would be the first and last kiss . Did this really had to end just like that ? She wanted to be selfish and keep him from going anywhere . At least for the night . 

         “ maybe it is foolish . Maybe it isn’t . Whose to say .“ 

      For a moment  hazy and wanting eyes looked into his as her breath tried to catch up with her . The taste of his lips still lingering on hers as she felt his breath with every word he spoke . When he finished , hermione slowly shook her head . taking in a deep breath before releasing it . 

        “ You’re such a prat , you know that . You should only ever truly be YOU . The you I see right now . Not someone I want you to be . If you think I would make you into a better person , you’re wrong . you do that yourself . You chose who you want to be and … We were children . Children who didn’t know any better . You were raised to hate people like me … It’s not your fault … and considering our situation right now – ”  She trailed off . 

at this point nothing mattered, not his father, not his mother, nor his aunt. just hermione &. him in this very moment. im his family he would be killed for this just because they were not the same bloo status, because he was a pure blood &. she wasn’t, because that was how he made her feel over &. over again, telling her that she had no place in hogwarts because her parents were human, after the whole aftermath of the dark lord winning, he saw how many mistakes he had made and hermione surely was one of those. 

he needed her, this wasn’t something that he just wanted for the moment, he needed her &. in this short moment he had her but what happened when she left ? would he have to go back to following orders from his father &. the dark lord ? what would be the end of this ? he could not possibly think that he could get a happily ever after with her, not with everything going on in this very moment. 

her words cause the same smirk to appear on his brims ; you should have done it sooner. shaking his head, he tucks another brown hair behind her ear ❛ ladies first, you took quite some time to do so. ❜ he knew that until this very second neither of them could be able to do such act, he had like her since he saw her. young thirteen year old malfoy telling his father about this girl who was fascinating &. getting backlash that she wasn’t something that he should admire, not from a mud-blood as herself. another kiss, multiple ones are being placed against her lips & the corner of her mouth, as if they were two children hiding away from their families, so they would not get caught; the irony of it all. that’s exactly what it was, too horrid of a fairytale like romeo &. juliet , scared what the outcome of them would truly be.

once she starts speaking, he cannot help but laugh,a chuckle erupting from his brims ❛ a prat ---- i’ll take it.  ❜ he stays close to her nonetheless, his hands resting on her hips, grassy hues focused on her brown ones. ❛ we cannot change the past, love. ❜ the word flowed so easily from his brims, as if he had called her that over thousands of times ❛ you are part of the good side, the side that wants a better world &. me ---- ❜  he drops his hands from her side and runs digits through his hair, pacing around the small area. 

taking a brief stop he looks at her smiling, not even thinking about this being a bad idea. ❛ come with me . somewhere far away, it would just be us two. even if it’s for a few hours. i know it won’t be forever but i ----- i need you &. i’m not ready to let go just yet. ❜ he didn’t see any sign of refusal or terrified look on her face. his hands laced with hers ❛ close your eyes. ❜ he turns into a shadow &. they transport to the outskirts of london, far away from where they were. 

as they arrived, he makes a stop turning to her, making sure that she was alright. ❛ you’re okay ? ❜ he inquires, grassy hues scanning her from head to toe, making sure she was alright.

𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐖𝐘𝐍 , 𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐀.

    Nikita had apprehended a couple of muggle-born begging not to be killed . “ I suppose I can give you just that . Although , I would have preferred death . then again , I am not a mud-blood .” She shrugged as she motioned for the others to take them away . No doubt they will be tortured for information on others .

draco leaned on the wall as he saw the raven haired femme in action, he knew that things has to be done &. nikita wasn’t anyone who showed kindness but she was sure more understanding than his father, the bruising on his cheek due to the last altercation with his father. smiling he approached slowly not to startle her ❛ i think they’re are better off with them, than with you.  ❜ a teasing remark nonetheless ❛ how have you been, beside adding to your list ?  ❜

𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐘   ,    𝐙𝐀𝐘𝐀.·

      “ I always take everything seriously and do everything on purpose .” She smiled back at her best friend .  “ You’re aunt gives me the creeps .” Zaya often times find her staring and asking her if she needed anything . She didn’t understand it . Especially coming to her defenses when she rejected joining while others started acting hostile . She once asked the lestrange woman if she wanted something from her all considering . As if she knew something zaya didn’t . “ It is , draco . You just wont let it be easy . No one owns you . You are your own person .” One thing she would never understand from draco . “But I guess when you’re used to luxuries … “ She trailed off for a moment to take a sip of her drink . “ It’s not so foolish to want to get away . What’s really holding you back ? Your family ?“  She questioned . “ Voldemort ? whatever duty it is they have you doing ? ” 

zaya was never one who would sugar coat anything &. maybe that was why he had trusted her as much as he did, would knock ( literally )  some sense into him when he was making stupid choice. yet now just her words were enough to make him seem clearer. ❛ bellatrix is ----- complicated. at times i believe without the dark lord’s influence &. her time in azkaban, she would be a different person but then again, that’s just me. maybe i’ll turn out just as crazy as her one of these days. ❜ a chuckle ( a feigned one ) escapes his brims. ❛ zaya ---- it’s not that easy, when the dark lord wants something, it has to be the done. i chose to be marked, no one forced me, i thought it was some sort of oh-so-great legacy to be part of, no matter how much i despised potter, never did i think it would result to this. ❜ he knew that sooner or later he would be needed, not sure how or when but it would have to be done. ❛ serious question ----- no jokes .  ❜ he takes a small pause as he looks at the brunette before him ❛ after all the bad shit i’ve done, do you think i can be forgiven ?  ❜

    Hermione slowly nodded .  trust does have to be earned . especially in dark times such as these . But she also knew they are all mistaken sometimes.  sometimes people do wrong things, things that have bad consequences . But it does not mean they are evil, or that they cannot be trusted ever afterward . “ It’s a step .” Hermione reminded him . “ I see you don’t want to hurt me despite how we were as children . “ Nasty words were exchanged but he never really physically went for her . Just words no doubt repeated . nast words said by the purebloods around him . 

    If draco hated her as she believed he wouldn’t have done anything . those words he sometimes lets slip about her . It confused her and made her stomach turn when she fools herself into thinking there might be something more to them . could he mean something more ? How ironic . A death eater and an order . A pureblood with a mud-blood . The very thing his side is trying so hard to prevent and destroy . DRACO MALFOY COULD NEVER . yet actions tended to speak louder than words . 

    “ I see it . “ She assured him . “ I wouldn’t be here if they weren’t true .” The space between them could be felt before once again he closed them . Taking hold of her , hermione knew exactly what he meant . This can’t happen . “ Maybe not … But what exactly do you want ? ” She wondered . Aware of his breath and his touch . How close he was to her . Her own hand reached to touch his . “ Because… I am never safe . I wont ever be safe . So I might as well do what I can to survive . What I can to live …  Do what I want . What I’ve been wanting to do for a while now … ” 

     Hermione stopped herself from thinking logically . Let impulses take control and before she regretted it and could stop herself , the muggle born witch brought him closer .  kissing him as her own heart pounded against her chest . Each beat felt as if it had enough force to rip out of her chest . wondering if he could hear it as lips tasted him . The scent of him filling her senses .

            It’s the kind of kiss that inspires stars to climb into the sky and light up the world. Soft at first because of the possibility of him pulling away from her . 

never in a million years did he think that he would be in this very spot with her, kissing a mud-blood. someone that he had been so disgusted with in his earlier life, someone that his father would have buried him six feet under if he ever found out about the true nature of what he was doing in this very moment. all those years back when he used to call her all those awful - horrid names, well because anyone who wasn’t like them ----- well, it was right thing to do by his lineage, they despised people who weren’t pure blood.

the thought of the time that she had punched him was still very fresh in his mind, he even couldn’t help but think about how such a young girl would be able to hit with such force &. the memory kept on playing over &. over again. et at this very moment all he could think about is her, everything else vanished, it was as if they were in their old little world, it was just them &. nothing could ruin this little moment that they were both sharing.

❛ what exactly do i want ?  ❜ he inquires her, the feelings on her lips brushed against his &. she smelled sweet, some type of scent that kept at drawing him to her, like he always did but never decided to do anything until this very moment. ❛  i can show you bett ---- ❜ before he could even finish his sentence, her lips had crashed against his, it didn’t take him much time to return the kiss. his hands sliters down to her waist, his fingers gently but assertive on her as her back hits the concrete wall. 

his tongue fighting for dominance and it surely wins. he wants for this to go on forever &. be with her but he takes a step back letting both of them take a hold of their breathes, small gasps as they looked into each other’s eyes. not a word being spoken, until he decides to ; his words a anything below a whisper so that it would be only her could hear his words ❛ you don’t how long i waited to that miss granger.  ❜ yet he didn’t hold back &. placed his lips on hers once again. taking her in as much as he could before he had to leave because he knew this was a goodbye kiss, this was a spur of the moment, she was just as lost as he was and simply needed someone. 

pulling away slightly he takes a step back, trying to capture anything about her face that he could remember before it all just vanished , just inches away from her at this point ❛ you know i wish that it was just us in this moment ---- a foolish thought nonetheless, when you asked me to run with you that night, it wasn’t because i didn’t want to, it was because during the whole time we were in hogwarts, i treated you with such disdain &. no mater how cruel i was your heart saw something different &. i will never be able to live up to the draco malfoy you want me to be, the one i should be.  ❜

𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑   ,    𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄.·

      Every passing moment , every thought she wanted to push away . She saw something in him that she knew he clearly hid from all . He was an annoying nasty little bugger when they were young . But she also knew she didn’t want to fault him for it . Draco was raised with violent disgust for Muggle-borns . And thus he treated her with disdain as they grew . Her beating Draco in school marks, for which his father berated him . She noted that in their second year when she met him . From time to time, Draco would call Hermione a mud-blood which usually set off the temper of her friends and once the Gryffindor Quidditch Team . 

     Most of the time, Hermione would ignore Draco but occasionally snapped back at him and in their third year, she even punched him. Even when young she would try to see the good side . nurture verses nature . She would imagine he would at least be friends with ron and harry were it not for how lucius raised him . Friends with her ? after all , she had short lived crush on draco when younger  .  It was hard to like him as the years passed and she thought all was lost with him until that night . 

      She shouldn’t feel this way . She knew ron and harry would flip if they knew . She knew they wouldn’t believe that draco malfoy saved her . More than once . the moments she spent with him then lit a fire within her she couldn’t understand . Or perhaps she did . She was clever to know exactly what it is . “ I want to trust you . “ Hermione admitted . Because truth is , he was with the death eaters . the very same side that wanted mud-bloods like her DEAD . 

        It was actions like these that confused her . She had instinctively reached out to him yet he indulged and now their fingers entwined . she did not move as he stepped closer , tucking her hair being her ear . His words to her . Were they sweet nothings or how he truly felt ? “ I am not all light and hope , draco . I have my moments … I have something dark and wicked hidden inside of me … Just as I see that you have something good and beautiful hidden inside of you . “ there was good in him . Eyes searched into his . She didn’t want to overthink . Yet she couldn’t help her mind rush . She knew it would be a stretch . Impossible . She didn’t want to be disappointed . she didn’t want to get hurt . 

he believes that time would have been so different, maybe if he was raised with different parents, things could have resulted so different. maybe they could have even been friends but sadly things weren’t the way he wanted &. he was a malfoy after all &. malfoys had to react a certain way. they couldn’t show any weakness for anything or anyone, that was something that he was taught from a young age. 

the years in hogwarts were filled with superiority on behalf of draco , from gifts to the slytherin quidditch team, to having the best of the best. he didn’t see it so bad all those years back, he simply saw as his father giving him whatever he wanted but as the time came clearer for him, he realized that this was his father’s way of grooming him to be part of the dark lord’s side, draco always wanted to be part of something bigger, something that made him feel needed &. important but little did he know that this would be something that would scar him for life. 

 he was able to walk around freely as he chose, the malfoy manor was his &. he was in control of everything ( everything except his true freedom ) . that night at malfoy manor when she had been held caused something in him, for the first time in his entire life, he wanted to be there for her. he wanted to help her &. save her &. he knew that it would result with consequences but he didn’t care. he did what he had to do. her words caused a small smile to taint rough features, though the smile soon fades ❛ trust has to be earned. ❜ he repeated the words he had once heard her speak ❛ isn’t that what you used to say ? ❜ he steps away from her, wanting to give her the space she needed, if she decided to run. ❛ &. i don’t think one good action would have me playing seeker with the ---- GOOD ONES . ❜

he was being snarky about it but it was his own way of hiding his own fears ❛ good &. beautiful.... i hardly doubt that. ❜ he reassured her, there wasn’t anything beautiful or good about him, he had shown it over &. over again.grassy hues scan her features trying to find something or anything that could make him believe that what he was feeling was shared but there were just ideas in his head ❛ it was good to see you but for you to remain safe, this can’t happen ----- ❜ he adds on &. he should run, run &. don’t look &. he makes his way to her, his hands now cupping her cheeks, taking in her scent. ❛ I thought for one second that I wouldn't have to feel guilty anymore ---- for wanting what i want... ❜

𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑   ,    𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄.· 

    Hermione looked a way for a moment as her cheek warmed .  “ I know you don’t mean that .” Was all she could say . After all , when it comes to him , she wanted to understand him but it was hard to . He was hard to read . There were glimmers and openings . glimpsing through and seeing him before he decides to shut himself back up . Yet hermione will hold on to whatever he showed her . 

   She didn’t mean he would take her back . She knew he wouldn’t . It was just a saying . An only possibility she knew was untrue . After all , why would he help her just to take her back there . Her body reacted before her mind registered her action . hand reached to stop him and pull him back when he stopped . “ I don’t think that . “ She said quickly . “ I don’t … I just meant that as a possibility I know won’t happen . I was just saying . .  I know you wont hurt me . I trust you with that much . .” A leap of faith . She paused for a moment , assuring him that was not what she thoughts . “ Besides , I know your aunt and others are not there anymore . . “ At least what she heard through the grapevine . Any information she got from their side was valuable . she heard he inherited most of his family’s assets . Yet she saw how hurt and angry he got with her hypothetical words . She didn’t want to go to bed that night going over every detail and wonder what she did wrong or how she could have misunderstood . She didn’t want to misunderstand him . Yet it was hard not to . 

    “ Don’t leave … “ When will she see him again ? Can she convince him this time ?  “–angry .” The brunette muggle-born urged for him to look at her . “ Please .” 

his words were always very calculated, straight to the point but ever since her last time in malfoy manor, it became harder &. harder for him to restraint from being different towards her but he couldn’t risk any true feelings from exposing themselves, he was still the same draco that used to call her disgusting names &. that was never going to change, at least in her mind. 

 he had shown who he was from a young age, how could one good action show her different from mistakes he made for many years ? ❛  you trust me that much ? ❜ he inquired with a tilt of his head, not sure what had come over her in this very moment. ther hermione that he met was very different than the one that was standing before him at this very moment. her grip on him was different this time, it was like she needed him &. no one had ever needed ( apart from his voldermort but those reasons weren’t all that good ) him this way before. he relaxes under her touch, even somehow slips into it &. some of his fingers are ever laced with hers. grassy hues stare into her brown ones, trying to search for something - anything, to try to understand where this was coming from.

 don’t leave. those two words were similar to the last time he saw her ; leave with me. he steps even closer to her this time around, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear, his eyes scanned her whole face to find something to proof that he wasn’t crazy but he took the only leap he could take in this very moment. ❛ i wouldn’t take you there, even if my life depended on it. no matter how stubborn you are, i’ve always admired your courage --- someone like that should be around to shine a little light in this darkness, showing the rest of us that there still is some type of hope. ❜

       Zaya never understood why he would lie just to end up telling her . Funny enough , most people tended to tell her all . Honestly , what better way to gather information . Yet draco was a different story . He could trust her and he did . She knew she had that . It’s not like she will tell his dirty little secret . “ My , My . Secret is juicier than I thought . “ She raised an eyebrow at him . The whole thing was amusing to her and she couldn’t hide it . she wasn’t going to judge him for it . “ Almost just as foolish as letting her go that night  ? ” She was concerned about that though . what if he had gotten caught with the granger girl . Raising an eyebrow at him as if to question why he would do it . “ Must we really choose a side ? Just because you have that mark on you , doesn’t mean you have to stay in one side forever, love … Everyone always has a choice to do whatever the fuck they want . Screw the people and their thoughts .” Of course , it was easier said than done  . Zaya outright rejected joining the death eaters and following their dark lord . She bows to no man or woman . “ The real question here is WHAT DOES DRACO MALFOY TRULY WANTS ?” 

it seemed like zaya was just someone that he could unload his problems to, someone who wouldn’t judge ( even if it was filled with a few snarky remarks ; but that he was used to. )  him for what would expel from his brims. ❛ do you ever take anything serious ? ❜ he questioned her, smiling. ❛ i’ve seen bellatrix at her worst &. somehow i never cared for it, it’s just who she is ---- mad as a hatter. ❜ even a small chuckle escapes but he’s seen the part of bellatrix that cared for him, the part where she really was family but he knew that all the pain and evil she had done would not just erase because he saw her in a different light. hearing her words caused a chuckle to escape from his lips as he sips on the wine before him ❛ i wish it was just as easy.  ❜ zaya really couldn’t relate, voldermort had chosen him, to take out dumbledore &. he couldn’t even do that. he disappointment his father in front of the dark lord &. that would not go unnoticed. ❛ in a perfect life, i would like to leave a place where no one would ever find me ever, live the rest of my life with no worries. ❜ the most honest thing he had ever said but he knew that would never happen, not unless the dark lord would fall &. the way things were going he didn’t see that happening ❛ but once again, another foolish thought ------  ❜

𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑   ,    𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄.· 

    “Ah-Lah-Rah. Alara .” Hermione repeated as if teaching him how to say it .  “ It’s turkish . It’s my middle name . It means One who makes things beautiful . In Turkish mythology, Alara is a beautiful water fairy . “  Although she might not be as beautiful as the myth of the fairy . Her middle name made her feel connected to her culture and her parents which she had erased every trace of herself from their memory . Why was she even telling him that ? Her own lips threatened to smile when he smirked . Yet it also frustrated given she knew that look all to well . Smirky mouths make you want to kiss them, to smooth them out and kiss the smirkiness away . Wait–No . Stop . She violently shook that thought away when he remined her of the last time she was dragged to the malfoy manor . How his aunt tortured her . The scar she now had on her forearm .  MUD-BLOOD . the very memory of it made it burn as if it was freshly carved into her skin . While she wore a long-sleeve black short dress to hide it . Hermione was now conscious of it . 

“ Isn’t there ?” She questioned him . Would he try to rptect her again ? help her escape should the occasion arise . “ Are you really ?” Hermione replied quietly , noticing he answered it too fast . As if trying to convince himself . A feeling she knew all too well after coming back . “ Well , if you say so . . “  A sigh escaped her lips as eyes darted towards the street before coming back to him . It was easy for her to just focus on him . She couldn’t let her mind wander off like that just because he was there . “ I just came to get a couple things … Only way that will happen now is if you take me there yourself and expose me .” 

the same cocky smirk doesn’t leave his features &. it only enlarges once he hears her correct him on the name, of course she would. at least that about her hadn’t changed ❛ well’ it’s surely fitting.  ❜ has he been to honest with his words ? he didn’t want to give her any openings on his real feelings, he couldn’t, not with her. her venture to the malfoy manor was a dangerous and lethal one, one that he had helped her get away from , still not sure why he had done it. maybe because for once in his life he had a choice to save someone, someone who didn’t deserve to be there, to be tortured the way that he was. 

he shakes his head at her inquiry ❛ not right now. ❜ he tells her, assuring her that her safety isn’t in any jeopardy. the smile on his face changed rapidly as he hears her last set of words, a betrayed scoff leaves his lips. ❛ if you think that i would take you back, why the bloody hell are you standing here talking to me ?  ❜ he was hurt, maybe even mad that he allowed himself to care for someone like her, someone who would only see him as the vicious malfoy that everyone saw. maybe his father was right, maybe there was no reason in looking for the better in someone, what they showed you &. who they were was the deadline of it. ❛ this was a mistake. you take care of yourself ------ alara.❜ he stops not trying to say her name in a public area, even if they are alone hidden away, he pushes past her turning to leave but makes a stop turning to look at her  ❛ i would stay clear of the streets for now, after all you’re not the only one whose been marked.  ❜

    Aside from the rocky start and constant headbutting , zaya was always within draco’s group in some way for form solely because she was best friends with malfoy . many question why she was even there considering zaya was never a follower . Never really part of the group . She did her own thing and followed her own rules . That much was evident considering zaya’s neutral side in the matter . Yet green eyes that resembled her father ( voldemort ) unknown to her always saw through . she always called draco out but not publicly unless she had to . If she had to call someone her best friend , it would be draco . Eyes rolled as she took the glass of wine before her . “ I’m just waiting on you .” She bluntly spoke . “ You clearly have something you’re keeping to yourself . Feeling more conflicted these days ? You usually tell me everything .”  Zaya took a sip of her drink before setting it down before her eyes roamed around the room where meetings used to be held and the so called lord practically walked around as if he owned the manor . 

tips of his fingers are tapping on the table as he shakes his leg, a habit that he had grown accustomed to. it was like she could read him without him saying a word and as she speaks he simply shrugs his shoulders. knowing that it would only result into seconds later of him telling her exactly what was bothering him. ❛ it’s nothing. ❜ another lie. he takes a sip of the wine before him &. lets his eyes finally reach her green ones ❛ i was the one who let hermione granger go the night she was here at malfoy manor. ❜ did he really just say that out loud ? they were completely alone, not like anyone could hear them. ❛ she had told me to run with her ----- what a foolish statement. what do i look like running ?  ❜ he inquired her but it was a question that he he had asked himself millions of times over ❛ i guess, i’ve been wondering what side am i really on ? not that i get a choice in it, right ?  ❜

    Diagon alley , ironically , was only safest to venture out at night . Although there had been more death eaters around , many were either too drunk or too much into themselves to notice . As well as hermione was betting onto the fact that hiding in plain site truly had its effects . All in black to blend in the better , hermione’s mind wandered off for a moment . having forgotten what else she needed . For that moment , her body collided with his . the scent of bleu de chanel hitting her and it had now been a constant reminder of him . aside from other moment’s when her mind wandered at how he was doing . what he was doing . it was silly to think of him when he probably thought nothing of her . Last time they saw one another he had saved her . always questioning why but never got a definite answer . The moment he had said her name , hermione quickly and instinctively covered his mouth with her hand and pushed him back towards the alley . call it paranoia . given many would know her name . death eaters especially . only blessing was the fact that not all knew her face . It took a minute to realize how close she was to him . Brown orbs staring into his piercing greens .  “ Alara … Publicly . “ Her middle name  Taking her hand back . “ Pardon me . As you can see , a little jumpy ?” An understatement . When will she ever feel safe ? Yet despite the fact that he was by definition the enemy — she felt and wanted to believe he was not . She took a step back from him . “ You ?” She questioned . “ How have you been ?” Although he looked good all around . 

    the last time that he had seen her, her life was in literal danger. maybe it was stupid of him to go ahead and save her knowing what the consequences would be but no one had questioned him. who would believe that draco malfoy would like a muggle born like her ? no one. his body is pushed into the nearest alley that was close to them, his breath hitches as to the proximity of her frame &. she smells of lavender but also sweet, oceanic hues stay focused on her brown ones &. as she steps away he composes himself. ❛ alana, huh ? ❜ a small smirk taints rough features as he nods his head ❛ is that made up or  ---- ❜ he trails off waiting for her answer. fixing his suit he looks around &. makes sure that no one is paying them any kind of special attention. ❛ a little jumpy would be an understatement but there is nothing for you to worry about . ❜he knew that as long as any death eater saw them together, they would just write it off . her inquiry caused a set of furrowed brows ❛ i’m fine. ❜ he says rather fast, it had become such an easy two words for him, he said it about a few hundred times during his day to day life ❛ what’re you doing here, alone. i’m sure you don’t want to have another vacation at malfoy manor. since your last stay wasn’t so hospitable ❜

draco didn’t hate his family, he simply didn’t . he was disappointed in his mother, from a young age he knew what his father was like &. what should have been expected of him, he needed to uphold the malfoy name but as far as his mother, he held some type of resentment towards her. it was her job to protect him from anything &. everything &. she couldn’t do that. dainty digits are playing with the silverware in his hands ❛  so, i’m guessing that father won’t be joining us for dinner, again ? ❜ he inquires towards his mom, his eyes finally reaching hers ❛ how fun.❜

after the type of day that he had, it seemed fitting to distract himself &. what better way if not diagon alley. grassy hues scan the shops as his mind wanders off &. it’s not until he feels the sudden rush of someone else’s body colliding with his. his concentration is set back on the femme &. before he can get angry, oceanic orbs land on the brunette before him. at first he doesn’t know what to say, doesn’t even help her. the last time that he had seen her, he had helped her escape &. now she was just here, in front of him ; looking as perfect ( not that he would ever even whisper it to a soul ) as she always did. ❛ hermione. ❜ was all that he could truly say but after seconds ( that seemed eternal ) he speaks up again. ❛ how have you been ?  ❜

what a lot of people did not know about zaya &. draco’s relationship was that during the years in hogwarts she was a constant. at first it started with a very few barks towards each other but sooner rather than later zaya was able to understand draco in a way that not a lot of people. she was a constant for his grief &. anger when things were spiraling so quickly and after all these years here they were. after draco inherited the malfoy manor, things seemed to start falling into place, not as tranquil as he wanted it to but tranquil for him, at least. ❛  i know that look on your face, so whatever it is, spit it out before you hemorrhage in your seat. ❜
