FACIAL MICRO EXPRESSIONS FOR WRITERS <3
Let's Be Crazy
Floyd Leech x Gn!Reader
*Notes: I included some photos from the game... let's just pretend he isn't standing in Ramshackle, lol. Also, I'm a big believer that Floyd would appreciate a partner who stands up for him when people call him crazy or make fun of his mood swings cause I feel like it would kinda upset him when people did that. Finally, there's swearing in this.*
Your morning started as usual: breakfast with Grim and walking to class with Floyd. Unfortunately, Azul had called him after class about an emergency at the Mostro Lounge that required immediate attention. You reassured him that you would meet up with him at lunch. He left with a relaxed smile, but his eyes were squinted just enough to give you the impression that he was annoyed to be called in while trying to spend time with you. That had been a couple hours ago, and lunch had started, but there was no Floyd to be found. So, you went looking for him.
It didn't take long as you quickly heard screams and shouts from the courtyard. Looking around a pillar, you see your boyfriend squeezing the life out of a Scarabia student. His friends shout for Floyd to let him go while the student struggles and screams for help. You take a deep breath; why do people always have to provoke him? ... Well, to be honest Floyd normally gets provoked when people aren't trying, but still.
"Hey!" you call out, causing Floyd to swing around to face you, the Scarabia student flailing in his arms. Noting the stern look on your face, he tosses the boy to the side where he hits the ground hard.
Floyd opens his mouth to explain, but his expression changes to shock when you gently cup his jaw.
"What happened?" You whisper, "Why are we angry at him?"
Floyd stays quiet in a curious turn of events, breaking eye contact with you. Your brows furrow, but when you realize he isn't going to say anything, you turn and walk to the Scarabia student still lying on the ground.
"What the fuck did you do?" You hiss, looking down on him.
The student looks at you in offense that you would assume he did anything in the first place. He stands, glaring at you while his friends huddle closer.
"I didn't do a damn thing, he's just crazy!" The boy yells, gesturing to Floyd behind you.
Before anyone can react, you swiftly punch the boy in the face, and he tumbles back onto the ground.
You cover your mouth in surprise at what you've done, but still lean down and say,
"I'm honestly not that sorry because you've been very rude. I'd hate to hear what people say about you..." You glance up at his friends, who look torn between defending him and keeping their distance from you.
Looking back down, you force the boy to make eye contact, "Pull that shit again, and I won't be so gentle... maybe you'll come to learn who's truly the crazy one."
You bring your leg back, making it seem like you'll kick the boy again. He flinches, scrambling back to his friends who surround him as they walk away.
Holding back a laugh, you turn back to see Floyd's rare soft smile.
"Hey, Shrimpy, you didn't have to do all that." He mumbles, his cheeks flushing a little.
"Of course I did. There is no way I'm letting him insult you, especially to my face." You walk closer, wrapping your arms around Floyd's waist.
Immediately, he squeezes you tightly to the point that you start to lose your breath. But you don't stop him, which he laughs gratefully at.
"Wanna tell me what that dick did?"
Floyd looks at you with a somewhat sheepish smile, "Ohhh y'know, talking 'bout how you must be deranged to date a psychopath like me."
Your hands tighten on the back of his coat, and you take a calming breath before smiling brightly at him.
"Well, I think that's none of his business. If I wanna date someone most people on campus are scared of, that's my choice. Plus, I always want you to express your emotions, even the heavy ones. Your feelings are valid, and I'm not going to push them away; we'll deal with them together."
Floyd can barely contain his excitement with each word out of your mouth. The moment you pause, he hurriedly crushes his lips to yours. You can feel the pinpricks of his teeth as he becomes overwhelmed by love.
When he finally pulls away, he whispers, "Thank you... Y/n."
Helping Tang
Tangent (IWATEX) x GN!Reader
A/N: Spoilers for "I Was A Teenage Exocolonist" specifically Dys and Tang's routes and the Peace on Vertumna ending! This is based loosely on the ending I got (pictured below)… but happier lol
It had been a few months since you made peace with the Gardeners. While Sym remained friendly, the other Gardeners that came near the Colony often appeared to be analyzing the humans.
Instance expressed her… concern? For her protege, claiming she “needed her back in the lab to help fend off the Helio idiots.”
You were worried about Tang too. Even tho the war was over, she didn’t seem any less stressed. In fact, she looked more exhausted than ever before, at least… when you saw her. Whatever she was doing, it was keeping her away from you, locked up in her quarters.
You lasted about one more month before you pushed through her door and finally came face-to-face with your partner. She was disheveled, lying in bed with her eyes open, her augment forcing her to stay awake. It seemed like she didn’t notice you, so you took the chance to snoop through some of her strewn papers.
You sighed as you realized that she’s been investigating Dys’s disappearance, trying to find any inclination of his fate.
“Tang” you whispered, only receiving a flinch of recognition in response “… Tangent.”
“What?” She mumbled, trying to make her tone sound cold but failing as her voice cracked.
“May I join you?” You asked, referring to her bed. At her uninterested shrug, you took a seat on the edge of the mattress.
You gently took her hand and you could see tears well in her eyes as she linked your fingers together.
“Where did he go?” She choked out, still keeping her eyes trained on the ceiling.
“I didn’t realize you were so interested in knowing… I should have told you from the start.”
At your words, Tang finally made eye contact with you, suspicion swirling in her gaze.
“…what?” She asked, this time much sharper.
You explained that Dys and undergone a form of metamorphosis to become a Gardener and had been living peacefully since before the war ended. It wasn’t surprising that her reaction was furious as she bolted upright. You let her yell, scream, cry… express emotions she usually kept hidden.
After her anger subsided, you stayed with her, explaining what you knew. You held her in your arms as she tried to calm down, clinging to you like a lifeline.
“I’ll get him here… so you can see him again.” You whispered in her hair, to which she nodded in agreement.
~~~~~~~~~~
It had been a couple weeks since then and during that time you had spoken with Sym about the possibility of Dys coming to the Colony. Sym informed you that it took less convincing than he expected, and Dys was ready to see his sister.
So, here you and Tang stood, at the edge of the Colony’s borders.
You hold in a gasp when you see him, not necessarily Dys anymore, but looking remarkably similar to his human form. Somehow, he looks lankier, his hair was a little longer, still with a pink stripe, but his eyes are the same.
Tang sobs at the sight of him, covering her mouth. He looks at her a little shocked, but continues walking at Sym’s persuasion. Once the twins are finally in reach of each other, Tang springs forward and connects herself to Dys in a crushing hug. He stumbles back a little, but slowly wraps his arms around her and leans his head down to rest on her hair. They don’t share any words, just hold onto each other.
Sym stands beside you, watching the quiet scene unfold… “they are communicating.”
“Yeah, that’s something twins can do, even on Earth.” You explain, causing him to form a curious expression.
You can faintly hear Tang’s cries into Dys’s shoulder. It seems like they’re reconciling, something you hadn’t managed to achieve before Dys’s transformation.
Sym hums, causing you to look at him, “I believe this is the only time I will truly feel human emotions… sadness, joy, relief.”
“Dys is feeling human emotions?”
“Yes.. it seems he still has some human elements. Likely they will pass with time.”
You and Sym stand for a while, watching your respective partners hug and relish in the feeling of having their other half reunited.
Eventually, Tang lets go, stepping back and wiping the tears from her eyes. The twins share a small smile before Tang turns back to you. You don’t ask her anything, don’t pry her for information, just stretch your arm out to her. She looks at you gratefully, reminded once again about how much she loves you, and basically falls into your arms.
You give Dys and Sym a wave as you and Tang walk back towards the Colony walls. Before you get to the entrance, Tang stops and looks at you,
“Thank you… for bringing me to him.”
“I should’ve done it a lot sooner, but I’m glad you got to see him.”
You slowly bring her into a hug, letting her nuzzle into your neck and breathe deeply. You kiss her temple, rubbing your hand lovingly across her back. She sinks further into your hold, putting almost all her weight on your arms.
“C’mon, I need some rest.” You tell her softly, tugging her along back to your quarters.
She appreciates that you take the attention off her exhaustion by saying you need the rest. Though, as she examines your face, she notices that you do look tired. A pang of guilt flows through her chest at the thought of you losing sleep from worrying about her.
Once you get to your quarters, you fall into bed, sighing in content. Tang laughs a little, crawling next to you and settling against your side. You wrap your arms around each other, feeling more at peace than you have since the war ended.
“I’m almost envious…” Tang finally says “…I’ve always hated the constraints of the physical human body. But Dys, he can be anything, do anything, without worry.”
You hide a smile, once again thinking about how similar the twins truly are.
“Perhaps, when we grow older, we can join him as Gardeners.” You say somewhat absentmindedly, but the way she perks up and her sleepy eyes look up at you, it doesn’t seem too far fetched.
“Yeah… that’s a good idea.”
Talkative People
Percy Weasley x Reader
It was the first official day of your first year at Hogwarts and the sheer amount of school work you’ve received already is astonishing. So, you made your way to the library for some silence. It was surprisingly busy as you pushed open the heavy doors, mostly upperclassmen occupying the tables.
Scanning over the room, you see a fellow first year student with bright red hair. He’s sitting a few chairs down from his brother, who’s studying in a group of upperclassmen.
Of course you know the boy, it was hard not to when his older brothers basically screeched as he was sorted into Gryffindor. He had a wide smile on his face at the time, but now he’s almost frowning as his eyes run over the book on the table. Glancing around, you can’t see the third Weasley boy, Charlie. Before you can look further, your attention is drawn back to the task of finding a seat when someone clears their throat behind you.
“Sorry” you murmur, taking a couple steps towards Percy Weasley.
You almost feel bad breaking his concentration, but you’re not at Hogwarts to play games. You came to learn, and it seems like this Weasley boy would be a good study partner.
His obvious desire to consume as much information from the book as possible speaks to you. It’s not that you need help necessarily, just someone to hold you accountable so you remember to study. That’s where Percy comes in, sitting in silence on his own, glaring at anyone who raises their voice.
You realize this is a delicate situation, one wrong move and he will disown you from his presence. You’ve seen it at the dinner table in the Great Hall, he strays away from everyone but his brothers. This doesn’t deter you though; finding a reliable study partner at the beginning of school is crucial to a successful education.
So, you stand up as straight as you can and walk towards the boy with red hair. Before he even has a chance to look up at your shadow, you slide into the seat across his. You silently pull out your books, ignoring the way his eyebrow tips up in question.
Giving him a quick smile, you introduce yourself, “I’m Y/n L/n, it’s nice to meet you.”
“Is it?” He questions, “what makes you think I’m interested in meeting you?”
Oof, well that stung a little, but nothing you weren’t semi prepared for.
Folding your hands together on top of your books, you respond, “it’s simple really: you’re not a talkative person, I’m not a talkative person… if we don’t sit together people may think we’re lonely and talk to us.”
Clearly, Percy was not expecting you to talk back, as both his eyebrows raise now.
“It’s psychology,” you continue, “people see someone with a furrowed brow and frown on their lips, like you, and they think the person is struggling, interrupting their concentration to offer help.”
Percy’s eyes lock with yours at the subtle dig you took at him, but you don’t let him reply,
“If we’re both sitting at the same table, with a couple well-placed interactions, people will be more likely to leave us alone as we are here to help each other. Thus, we can focus on studying, as that is the common goal we share.”
He waits a couple seconds, seeing if you have more to say. When you stay silent, he speaks up,
“… I suppose that is sound enough logic, but don’t plan on this being a regular thing.”
You raise your hands in surrender, knowing that you’ve already made plenty of progress for the day.
You quietly open your book and begin to study, not noticing the way Percy’s gaze lingers on you before he goes back to studying.
~~~~~
After a while, Bill comes over, bag slung over his shoulder.
“Hi Percy, who’s this?” He asks, gesturing to you.
Percy releases a sigh at the distraction, so you take the initiative to respond to Bill yourself,
“Y/n L/n, a pleasure to meet you…?”
“Bill, Bill Weasley, and this is Percy, though I’m sure he told you.” Bill raises an eyebrow at his younger brother, who chooses to ignore it.
You just hum in response, causing Bill to shake his head with a smile at his brother’s cold shoulder.
“Well, I hate to interrupt, but dinner has started.”
Percy snaps his book shut and carefully places all his items into his bag. He looks at you as you stand from your seat.
“It has been an honor studying with the great Percy Weasley,” you tease, bowing towards him. Lifting your head, you see him roll his eyes, but his cheeks tinge with red.
Before he can come up with a response, you wave goodbye, walking away from the table and out of the library.
Percy huffs in frustration that he wasn’t able to quip back. Bill snorts a little before covering his mouth, but Percy still gives him a small shove, speedily walking from his brother’s knowing eyes.
Swimming with the Jellies
Sebastian (Stardew Valley) x Reader
It was your first year in Pelican Town, and Lewis had invited you to the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies festival. When you asked the other villagers about the event, many expressed their love for the tranquil night of celebrating the jellyfish migration. However, Sam's eyes twinkled with mischief, and he told you this would be one to remember.
You had pushed this from the front of your mind and had almost forgotten as you walked onto the beach. You greet villagers as you pass by, heading down to the far end of the pier to find Sam, Abigail, and Sebastian. Waving hello to the trio of friends, you move next to Sebastian and give him a little smile.
Ever since you moved to the Valley, you have been absolutely smitten with the frog and fantasy-loving programmer. Unfortunately, you could not gain his trust enough to have him as a dance partner at the Flower Dance, but you understood his hesitation. Nonetheless, you continued to crush on him, giving him gifts at least once a week.
"Hey Sebastian, here's an earth crystal I found in the mines."
"Hey! I accidentally brewed an extra cup of coffee this morning, here you go."
"Sebastian! I heard you were working on something important, so I brought you a sashimi. Make sure you take a break to eat!"
You only hoped he didn't think your gifts were overbearing, but he didn't reject them and seemed genuinely grateful, making you hopeful. Still, you weren't going to push him, taking it slow as Abigail informed you that Sebastian didn't exactly have a lot of experience.
Before you can speak to the man, Sam waves you over to the other side of the pier. Walking over, you see the same twinkle as earlier and become a little wary of what the skateboarder is scheming.
"What if I push Sebastian into the water?" Sam whispers.
"Considering jellyfish are about to come near the pier, and who knows if they're deadly, that might not be a good idea." You respond, crinkling your eyebrows at the thought of Sebastian being stung.
He reassures you, but you can't help feeling unsure. You raise an eyebrow at him, and Sam holds up his hands in a surrender gesture.
Returning to Sebastian, you sit on the edge of the pier, ensuring your feet don't touch the water. He follows suit, making himself comfortable, resting his hands by his sides. You glance to your left and see his fingers almost touching yours. With your heartbeat thundering in your ears, you take a deep breath and turn to him.
Your attempt at starting a conversation gets cut short abruptly as you watch Sebastian go flying into the water, Sam's hands pushing him right off the edge.
Chaos follows as people start shouting, and the mixed voices of Abigail, Robin, and Jodi chastising Sam.
Clearly, they have Sam covered, so you focus on Sebastian, who just popped up from beneath the water. Based on his numerous rejections to swimming this Summer, you can only imagine that he gained his swimming skills when catching frogs.
You shake your head to clear your mind of these curiosities and immediately grab the pier's edge with one hand, extending your other to the man. He tightly grasps around your wrist, and you can see the surprise on his face as you haul him back to the safety of the wood. Now soaking wet, he ruffles his hair to remove the clinging water, and you can tell he's forcing down the shivers.
He insists that he's fine, pushing aside everyone's worried comments. Abigail takes a quick glance at you, and it's clear that she has something on her mind. You only hope it's not as dangerous as Sam's plan.
"How about Y/n takes him home, so he can warm up." She suggests.
Before anyone can respond, you chime in with an "I'd be happy to, Haley can show me pictures tomorrow."
Although she doesn't exactly understand your liking of the isolated man, Haley gives you a little wink and ushers you two from the pier. You don't see it, but she and Abigail share a little low-five as they settle next to each other. Perhaps this is the start of a beautiful friendship...
Nonetheless, you and Sebastian make your way to his home in the Mountains. Still, he's suppressing the shivers, but the way he rubs his hands against his arms tells you all you need to know.
i hope you buy things that bring you joy. i hope you wear clothes that make you feel good. i hope you decorate your home however you like. i hope you don’t wake up dreading going to work. i hope you meet people that make your heart sing. i hope you discover hobbies that fulfill you. i hope you go on fantastic adventures that give you unforgettable memories. i hope you do things just because you want to, and i hope you don’t feel like you have to justify your decisions to anybody. i hope you find happiness. i hope you cultivate a life you love
Taking Care
Sebastian (SDV) x Reader
A/N: I recently got back into Stardew Valley with the 1.6 update and got this dialogue with Sebastian, which gave me many ideas lol. I may end up writing a part 2 to this or just edit this post to add more
Another A/N: Okay, I totally did edit this to add more, and I think I'm going to do it again at some point lol
Last A/N: I did do it again lol, but now I think I've used all my ideas for this story
"What?! Are you kidding me?" You whisper shout, trying to keep Robin from hearing you.
Who knows what she would do if she found out Sebastian went into the caves alone. To be fair, you were about to knock him upside the head when you saw the gash on his arm.
It was gross, to say the least. It traveled up his forearm, the edges where his skin was split looked wilted, and you were surprised you couldn't see bone with how deep it was. Again, it was pretty gnarly.
"Sebastian, that needs to be taken care of; if you get an infection, you could lose your arm."
"That's a bit overdramatic," Sebastian says, "besides, I can't go see Harvey, he'd tell my mom for sure."
"Fine, then I'm going to take care of it."
You don't wait for his protest, grabbing his other arm and leading him to the couch in his room. Luckily for him, you were just on your way to the mines, so you had first aid supplies on hand.
First, you doused the wound with a life elixir, which stung based on the hiss Sebastian let out. Though already his skin was starting to close back together, the wonders of the Valley magic.
"I can't believe you went in there-"
"Hey, I have every right to go in there, same as you." He snapped, cutting you off.
You looked up and saw the harsh glare he was throwing your way, which you were happy to return as you continued...
"Slow down, hot shot. If you'd let me finish, I was going to say, 'I can't believe you went in there without a weapon.'"
"Oh," He mumbles, his eyebrows softening and his lips frowning, "Sorry, I guess I just didn't want a lecture."
"Well, you deserve one," you remark, "but now isn't the time."
"I lost my mace, but I didn't think it would be a big deal to go into the higher levels."
You sigh while grabbing gauze and a bandage to wrap around his arm. Gently, you take his arm in your hands and begin covering the wound.
Sebastian can feel goosebumps rising as he feels your surprisingly soft hands take care of him. He doesn't want to admit it to you yet, but it feels nice to have you there with him, worried about his well-being.
You finish wrapping his arm and look up to see him already gazing down at you. He almost seems to be in a trance, and you can feel yourself following along. Who knows how long you two spend looking at each other, wondering what will come next.
Taking a chance, you cup his hand in yours, drawing circles with your thumb. Slowly, your other hand travels up towards his face. Sebastian lets out a shaky breath and closes his eyes, ready for anything.
However, before you can make contact, Robin calls for Sebastian from the stairs, breaking the moment. His eyes snap open and you both jolt away, trying to come back to the present moment.
Quickly, Sebastian pulls his sweatshirt sleeve over the bandaged wound and calls back to his mother, telling her he'll be right there. You both emerge from his room, much to Robin's surprise.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had company." She says, noticing the blush coating yours and Sebastian's face. You can tell she's trying to keep the teasing smile from showing, though she thankfully doesn't ask questions.
"It's alright, I was just leaving anyways." You say hastily, waving goodbye to them both before booking it out of the building.
Before the door closes, you can hear a faint mumble from Robin. Sebastian, in a much louder fashion, tells her to keep her voice down, and you swear you hear him say something akin to "not yet."
not a poll but everyone needs to know about this because tumblr has introduced another toggle that should have been opted out by default

Christmas Gifts
Percy Weasley x Reader
Percy Weasley was known to be reserved, even around his family members. So, when the twins let it slip to Molly that he had a significant other, she was ecstatic. Immediately, she sent an owl to you, asking if you would come over for the upcoming winter break.
It was Ginny's idea to make your guest appearance a surprise for Percy, which you were on board for. Of course, it was a little nerve-wracking to be meeting the rest of Percy's family, especially without him there. However, you decided that none of them could be as shocking as when you met the twins one night while roaming the halls with Percy.
He was on Prefect duty, but you didn't care; you both had insomnia anyway. Plus, the late hours of the night were some of Hogwarts' quietest, and you wanted to cherish it.
That being said, the excitement radiating off Molly Weasley when you got to the Burrow was a force to be reckoned with. She was absolutely thrilled that her sophisticated son had found someone all on his own.
Wrapping you in a tight hug, she welcomed you inside the home and introduced you to Ginny. The little girl was shy, but you could see the mischief glimmering behind her eyes at the thought of the shocked look on Percy's face when he got home.
Admittedly, it was challenging to sneak around Percy's keen senses that he had developed from being the victim of many pranks and through his job as Prefect.
"Do you think we've pulled it off?" You asked after you stuck your things in the appropriate siblings' room.
"He's a smart one, but I don't think he'll be expecting this. My, he doesn't even know that the twins told us about you." Molly responded.
In the corner of your eye, you saw knitting needles clicking together as they wove the strands of yarn. You were an avid knitter/crocheter as well, but you preferred to do it by hand. Nonetheless, the magic flowing through the needles and into the yarn was fascinating.
Molly noticed your interest and started a conversation about the hobby while preparing dinner with Ginny. You offered to help by setting the table and adding extra plates for Harry, Hermione, and yourself.
"I actually brought handmade gifts for everyone," you mention, "I wasn't sure what to make, but I hope you all like them."
"Oh, that is wonderful, dear!" Molly cheered and you could see the wheels turning in Ginny's head on what her present might be.
Soon enough, it was time for the main event. The clock had switched, and everyone's name was now at the Burrow. You rushed to the bathroom seconds before the door flung open and a sea of red hair flooded the entryway.
You pressed your ear against the door, listening as everyone greeted Molly and Ginny. Quickly, Molly ushered everyone upstairs to put down their things so dinner could begin.
"Okay, dear, when you hear the knitting needles stop, you'll know it's time to come out." Molly whispered near the bathroom door before rushing back into the kitchen.
Once again, you heard a stampede of footsteps make their way past the entryway and into the dining area.
"Mum, you set out an extra plate ... and there's an extra chair." Percy observed as he sat down next to an empty spot.
At that exact moment you heard the clicking of needles cease and you had to take a breath before opening the door.
"I suppose that means I'll be sitting there." You say, walking into the room.
Percy chokes on air the second he hears your voice. Ginny's smile is bursting at the seams, the twins are holding in their laughs, Molly is almost vibrating with excitement, and the rest are simply watching the scene unfold with smiles.
"Y/n!" He yells before clearing his throat, "what ... what are you doing here?"
"I was invited, I hope that's alright." You say shyly, moving a little closer to the table.
"Of course it's alright," Percy exclaims, "but how did this happen?"
Once the words leave his mouth something clicks in his brain, and he whips his gaze over to the twins. Immediately, they lose control and begin cackling at the look on their brother's face.
"It was my idea to surprise you!" Ginny comments with a smile.
Percy instantly softens once he sees everyone giving him warm looks and the tears in his mother's eyes.
"Well, consider me surprised."
He turns back to you and stands, taking your hand and leading you to the seat next to his.
"This is only the beginning of the wonderful Christmas we're going to have." You whisper to him, folding your fingers through his.
"I don't think anything could ever top this." He says before kissing the top of your hand.
Just wait until he sees his other gift.
A/N: Ohhhh my gosh, it has been so long since I have been on Tumblr and this account, and it's crazy. But here we are with my man Percy Weasley; he is a little bit of a douche sometimes, but I'm in my "I can fix him" phase lol.
I made a baby blanket for a pregnant woman at work and I went back and forth about it like “is this weird? To like hand make something for someone when we’re like friendly acquaintances not like bffs. God why are you so fucking awkward.” Anyway I gave it to her and she said she loved it and in the back of my head I’m like yea she’s nice and probably just humoring the weirdo. Well she texted me a picture this weekend of a scrunchy faced newborn at the hospital wrapped in the blanket I made her. And I’m like. Wow. She loved it so much she took it with her! To the hospital! To give birth! She wrapped her newborn it! I am just so filled with love and joy right now.
People will love the things you make them. Because you thought of them and you cared.
Spin the Bottle (with Forehead Kisses)
Twisted Wonderland!Dorm Leaders x Reader
A/N: Some of these are longer than others and that is solely because I felt like some of the housewardens would need more convincing and more back story for the whole thing to actually make sense.
Riddle Rosehearts:
Somehow Riddle was sucked into playing a game of spin the bottle at Ramshackle dorm with the rest of the dorm leaders. Honestly, he was more shocked at how you managed to convince him, let alone some of the other dorm leaders, to show up.
You had come to him earlier in the week with the offer of joining you and the other dorm leaders at Ramshackle for a sleepover of sorts. Riddle was fully prepared to reject this offer, but Trey happened to be listening in and told him that it may be a good "bonding time" and that he deserved "a night away from being a housewarden."
So, now he was sitting in a circle with the rest of the dorm leaders in the middle of Ramshackle's lounge area. You had proposed a game of spin the bottle, something many of the dorm leaders were dreading. Unfortunately, Kalim's joyful energy pulled everyone together and soon they had all agreed to play.
Luckily, Riddle has not had a turn yet and he so far has not been at the receiving end of someone else's turn. However, his luck seems to have run out as you spin the bottle, and it stops facing him.
If he were in a different situation, Riddle would probably be happy to receive a kiss from his crush. Instead, he was about to have his first kiss with the person he likes in front of the other dorm leaders because of some stupid game.
Somehow, you appear to have noticed his unease because as you sit in front of him and take his face into your hands, you do something unexpected. With Riddle's cheeks already burning from the close proximity, you tilt his head down and give him a soft kiss on the forehead.
All of the breath is sucked from Riddle's lungs as he stares wide-eyed at the Ramshackle prefect. You slowly back away from him, give him a kind smile, then return to your previous spot in the circle.
He can feel the burning sensation of a blush all over his face, even traveling down his neck. Tears almost spring to his eyes from the absolute softness and care that you just showed him. Through one simple kiss on the forehead, Riddle has been reduced to a puddle of emotions.
He chokes a little once his lungs inform him that he has stopped breathing. He takes a deep breath in and suddenly his senses start picking things up again. Some of the other dorm leaders can be heard laughing at him, others look just as shocked as he does, and others either look like they couldn't care less (Leona) or they look like they're going to burst from excitement (Kalim).
Riddle's face burns even brighter as his senses come back to him, but all he can do is look at your smiling face and wonder what that tender kiss meant, and if he could believe that you might like him back.
Hands to Hold
Liam Dunbar x GN!Reader
It's the night of the senior scribe and Liam somehow convinced Scott and Stiles that he was in control during this full moon. You do admit that tying him to a tree might have been a little overboard, but everyone in the pack still have the occasional struggles. So, it was a little hard to believe Liam's claims.
Currently, you are volunteering at the hospital to help with the understaffing issue. Stiles approaches you at the reception desk with Liam in tow. He taps the desk while looking around the hall.
"Stiles, why are you looking around all suspiciously?" You ask through a sigh.
"We need someone to watch Liam while we're at the senior scribe."
"I thought he was tied to a tree." You mumble, looking through the list of current visitors.
"He says he's in control now, so we're dropping him off here." Stiles says, patting the desk with both his hands now.
"I'm working." You say, finally looking up at him.
"He won't bother you, right Liam?" Stiles looks back at Liam with a smile.
"Yeah, sure. I'm gonna go find Scott." He says distractedly before leaving for the elevator.
"Yeah, he seems fine." You say with a loud whisper. Stiles rolls his eyes and leans against the desk,
"Will you keep an eye on him, please."
"Fine, just go do your senior scribe and have fun." You say with a smile, resting your head in your hand.
"Hey, when you two become seniors, you'll be able to add your names. I've gotta go find Scott and Malia." He says and waves goodbye as he also leaves for the elevator.
Liam comes back, this time with Scott, Stiles, and Malia in tow. The three of them leave while Liam lingers behind, leaning against the reception desk. He sighs as he looks around the hospital, then turns his gaze back to you.
Melissa comes to the reception desk, "I heard Liam's supposed to stay here with you, so I brought you an extra stool."
She sticks the stool behind the desk and gestures for Liam to sit with you. Once he does, she gives you both a smile, then leaves to attend to other things.
"How are you doing?" You ask, setting down the papers you had and turning your attention to Liam.
"I'm doing fine, not gonna run around naked again." He says with a laugh. You give him a laugh of your own, remembering how bizarre it was when Stiles called you in the middle of the night. As you look down at the papers sitting on the desk, you see Liam's hands clenched in fists despite the smile on his face.
"What's up with your hands?" You whisper, hovering your fingers above his fists.
Liam sighs heavily while he slowly opening his hands to reveal puncture marks in the center of his palms, most likely from his claws. You watch as the wounds actively heal in front of you as Liam speaks,
"So, maybe I'm not totally in control. Scott says it's because I'm still learning."
"He's right, it's fine if you're not in total control. Although it's unfortunate that your hands are paying the price." You say, cupping your hands under his and supporting them with your palms. The surprising softness of his hands and slight twitching of his fingers gives you an idea.
"Can I hold your hands?" You ask quietly, looking up at him. You can hear the shuddery breath leave him as he gives you a small nod. Giving him a little smile, you go from cupping his hands to lightly grabbing them and lacing your fingers with his.
Liam's claws make small indents in your skin, but slowly they retreat back into his fingertips. You rub your thumbs along his hands before checking to see if the cuts on his palms are healing. Luckily, they have healed to the point where they're scars, which are slowly disappearing already.
You rearrange your grip on his hands so that you can turn and look back through the list of visitors left. At some point you will have to close visitor hours, which means Liam will have to leave. It also means you'll have to decide whether or not you clock out early so you can stay with Liam.
Your thoughts are suddenly disrupted when the hospital doors violently swing open and Sherrif Stilinski rushes in with a wounded Parrish. You and Liam exchange glances before you page Melissa and go to find out what's going on, only sparing a small thought to the pack seniors at the high school.

Liam Dunbar x Reader
The call wakes you up in the middle of the night, and after ignoring the sound time and time again, it becomes unbearable. You groan to yourself as you reach for your phone and press answer, "What the fresh hell do you want?"
"Hey Y/n, I know it's late, but I just left Liam's and he seems really bothered by something." You hear the voice say.
"I'm sorry," You mumble, "I kind of just woke up and need a little refresher. Who are you?"
"It's Mason, Mason Hewitt, I'm Liam Dunbar's best friend."
"Okay, now I'm caught up. You said Liam is being bothered?" You ask, sitting up in your bed and turning on the light.
"Yeah, he just seems worried or something. I'm not entirely sure what's going on with this new friendship he has with you and Scott and them, but maybe he'll tell you whatever he's hiding from me." Mason says, and you can hear the slight sadness in his voice at the thought that Liam may not trust him as much anymore.
"Uh, yeah, I can go check on him for you. I'll let you know what I can." You say, already out of bed and throwing on some presentable clothes. Mason thanks you before hanging up and leaving you in silence.
Luckily, it doesn't take you long to get to Liam's house and the weather is nice, so the walk over is comfortable. You debate climbing up the side of the house but decide on going through the front door.
Liam's stepdad answers the door and greets you with a confused expression, "Liam seems to be a popular guy tonight."
"I just got a text from Mason, apparently I forgot about a project for Coach's class. He said Liam was complaining because we're supposed to work together, and he doesn't want to be put on the bench for lacrosse. Thought I might as well ease his worries as quick as possible." You explain with a tired smile, still feeling sleepy from Mason's abrupt call.
"I see, well he's up in his room," Liam's stepdad says while moving aside, "does he know you're here?"
"Nah, he doesn't, but I'll try and not surprise him." You walk into the house and head to Liam's room.
"Liam? It's Y/n," You knock on the door and when there's no response you push it open, "Liam?"
The scream he lets out is honestly incredible. You may even argue that it can rival Lydia's banshee scream. To say it throws you for a loop is an understatement and you're surprised his stepdad doesn't come running upstairs.
Liam quickly flicks the light on, still catching his breath and you can see his eyes going wild, "Y/n? What the hell are you doing here?"
"Mason called me, he said you were bothered by something." You say with a hand on your forehead as you also try to catch your breath.
"Well now I'm bothered." Liam sighs, sitting up in his bed. You almost laugh at his words but decide against it based on how truly shaken the boy in front of you looks.
