*Unsure of who would be coming by his place at this time. Leaving his mother in the kitchen, he went to open the door* Yes...?

Lilija called up Feli, hoping he would answer her.

"Ciao?" Feli didn’t recognize the number that was calling him but he was hoping it was Basch.

Feli shook his head. “No. There’s nothing to make up.” He looked over at Lilija. “I’m not hungy. I’ll just go clean up and put the leftovers away.” He slipped out of the room and back into the kitchen.

Lilija was going to say not to worry about it since her husband was in the kitchen taking care of it. “How are you?”

"I’ll be fine, Mom." He gave her a small smile before disappearing into the bathroom.

Odalric look over, hands deep in water as he washed the dishes.” The meal was good.” There was a small smile before it went away. “Lilija, fixed you a plate. Eat.” He nodded over to the table before getting back to work. “How is Wolfgang?” The alpha’s temper and worry was no longer there. He was better now his son was safe.

"I’m not very hungry. Thank you though." Feli brought the plate into the kitchen and wrapped it before putting it in the fridge. "Oh he’s good. If you’re going to be in town for a while you should stop by and see him. I know he’d like that."

"You should still eat." He left that decision with that last comment. "I would like to see him again." Speaking about the child made Odalric's eyes light up. "I'm not good with this town anymore but I'm sure I can find the place again. Lilija wants to stay a few days with Basch."

Lilija called up Feli, hoping he would answer her.

"Ciao?" Feli didn’t recognize the number that was calling him but he was hoping it was Basch.

Coming back in Feli gathered up the plate of food Basch didn’t finish. “Leftovers will be in the fridge for you but I’m sure your mama and papa will be staying for a while. Do you need anything else?” He shuffled to the door staring down at the plate of food.

Basch looked up to watch Feli move around his room before settling at the door. “Yeah… Maybe for a couple days or so.” He paused and frowned to himself since the omega wouldn’t even look at him. “Ja, I do… For you not to hate me…”

"I don’t hate you Basch. I never could. It’s your rut smell. It’s strong still… And seeing Adala was hard for me…" He glanced up long enough to send the alpha a small smile to reassure him.

"At least I know you don’t hate me. Hopefully in a couple days this will be over. I’ll uh… text or call you when it is if you want." He paused a moment wondering if this would truly end when a normal rut does. "I’m sorry you had to see her… I will make this up to you, Feli."

Lilija wondered back to the bedroom entrance after eating. “Why don’t you get you a bit to eat before I ride you home, okay?” She wanted to make sure the omega got something to eat himself.

Feli shook his head. “No. There’s nothing to make up.” He looked over at Lilija. “I’m not hungy. I’ll just go clean up and put the leftovers away.” He slipped out of the room and back into the kitchen.

Upon hearing all of that the alpha ran his fingers through his hair, pushing it out of his face. “I know they do… Thanks for being with them, Feli. I owe you one.” It was becoming harder and harder for Basch to be in the room with the omega. If he was in heat, there would be no control. “I should shower…” He would get up but he still didn’t have anything on.

"Okay. I’ll get it started for you. Would you like me to help you to the bathroom?" Feli got up from near the window and shuffled toward the door. He stopped and looked back at the alpha.

"Oh, you don’t have to but thanks. And nah, I can make it in there. Just let me know when ever it’s ready." Once Feli turned back around tp head into the bathroom, Basch quickly got up and went to pull on some sweats. Better to have some clothes on at least. He then sat back on the edge of the bed to wait.

"Thanks for… understanding. It’s kinda shocking still that she would… I shouldn’t have went in blind like that. But I swear if she ever does anything to you or my half brother I will…" Basch finished only half the food on his plate. His mind was on other things, but he was doing his best not to let on. "You don’t have to stay through this. I would tell you when it would be safe for you to see me but… I don’t even know how long it’s been."

"Well since KM’s pregnant now I don’t think she’ll do anything to him any time soon." Feli looked out of the window, but when Basch spoke he looked back at him. "You’ve been gone for five days." Five days Basch had been sleeping with that omega, Feli felt sick to think about it like that.

"I hope… You watch your back okay?" Basch was planning on getting that women back for what she had done not really to himself but his friend and family. "Five days…?" There was a bit of shock on his face. It hadn’t felt that long. Though without windows or a clock it could have been two weeks and he would have never known.

And he didn’t hate the alpha, he was just trying to be a good mate to Brutus and not put himself in a situation where he would hurt him. He nodded his head anyway and shuffled back to the dinner table. Making Basch a plate he went back to the room. He was going to leave the door open though. “Here you go.” He handed the food to the alpha.

Lilija and Odalric went to eat in the kitchen together and have a small chat on what they should do while Feli was giving food to their son.

When he heard footsteps coming back into the room, Basch sat up thinking it was his mother coming back when in fact it was Feli. “…Thanks. You didn’t have to though.” He took the plate and sat it on his lap. He couldn’t lie to himself; Feli smelled amazing but his mind was back since he was away from the smell of an omega in heat. “I’m sorry…”

"You’re mother asking me to and I can’t say no to her." Feli sat next to the window since the smell of Basch’s rut was still strong. "Why are you apologizing?" He tilted his head and darted his eyes to Basch.

"She likes you a lot." Basch picked at the food a bit before finally starting to eat. "Why? Because you had to see me like that. I don’t even…" The alpha shook his head. "I’ll understand if you don’t want to be around me anymore."

About an hour later, Feli started setting the table. He set a fresh beer next to Odalric’s plate. “I’ll go get Lilija. Feel free to start eating.” He kept his head down and shuffled toward Basch’s bedroom. He knocked on the door softly and cracked it open to peek in.

"Thanks," the alpha mumbled but didn’t move from where he sat. He didn’t want to eat without his family.

Lilija had raised the windows by Basch’s request when he woke and now she sat beside him playing with his hair. She want to ask him so many questions but knew her son wasn’t ready for it. When the knock came to the door, she turned to smile at Feli peeking inside. “Come in dear.”

Basch pulled the covers even closer to his body when the knock came and the smell of Feli hit his nose.

"Um… It’s okay. I’ll just stay out here. I wanted to know if you two wanted to eat. I made lots of food." He gave a small half smile and avoided looking directly at either of them.

Basch mumbled something to his mother while laying there and soon after she got to her feet. Walking over to Feli she placed a single hand on his shoulder. “He… is afraid you hate him. Will you bring him a plate and possible talk a moment?” She had leaned close enough for it was only for Feli’s ears.
