Are there any piano practice rooms on the main campus? I'd like to keep playing piano occasionally, even though I don't plan to take lessons. Also, do you know where I could practice clarinet/trumpet without bothering anyone?

There are in Lyons. I believe some have blocked times but I used them quite a bit to prepare for auditions. You can use those rooms to practice clarinet/trumpet too.

In any of the four man (2 bedroom) apartments, are each of the bedrooms locked by a keycode or a physical key or some sort, or are they just open for anyone inside the apartment to access? Thank you!

If I remember correctly, I think they lock with a key but it has been awhile. Followers?

Hey! Where are the 2-person apartments located on campus and are they for juniors? Also, what are the on campus housing options for juniors, can you room with just one roommate or are you supposed to go through the whole 8men,6men and 4men selection process?

Followers? When I went there most juniors lived off campus and I lived in an 8-man so I am not sure if it has changed

Can econ stats be taken instead of biostats to satisfy the math requirement?

You should email the professor or your advisor to find out.

Can you do Pre-Med in CSOM or LSOE? Or can you only do pre-med in MCAS?

I'm new to eating at lower, how exactly does the whole "flavored pancakes made to order" thing work? It's so intimidating and I don't want to mess up 😬

It has been awhile but you should just be able to get in line and then tell the person which topping you want. Just watch the people in front of you!

Thoughts on intro to music with james?

I’ve only taken Music in America with James, so I can’t comment on the class, but as a professor I thought he was pretty reasonable and I liked the structure of his class. He’s very on top of emails and organization and timing in general, which is always nice if you need a little extra help on things, and as long as you show up to class (he has requirements for attendance) and pay attention, it’ll be a pretty easy ride.

Is intro to theatre actually time consuming? I am taking orgo and other premed classes so I am worried that this class will take away a lot of my time from science-related subjects.

If I remember right, I don’t think so. The only time consuming requirements would be to watch a certain number of shows at Robsham or Bonn, and if you’re doing science you probably need the time for relaxation, so just think of it as a built in break, haha.

Thoughts on history of popular music?

That is actually a new class taught by a newly hired professor, Timothy Mangin, so you asked me the one question I cannot answer HAHA. I did graduate a music major though, and was close with a lot of the professors, so if you have any other music related questions please feel free to ask!
