Nadler Nadler Bixon Gil Architecture 1946-2010
An architecture monograph we designed for the Israeli Nadler Nadler Bixon Gil office summing up more than 60 years of their work.
Happy to announce our new book summing up more than two years of research we did on Postmodernism in the 80s and 90s in Israel, following up from our previous book Pax Israeliana (which we are also trying to get reprinted: https://igg.me/at/pax-israeliana/x/15930170)
Get it here: wearepublicschool.com/maxisraeliana
Max Israeliana is a collection of art, design and architecture, illustrating the aesthetics of Israel between the late 1970s and the mid 1990s, considering the social, economic and political circumstances of the period - times of ongoing territorial battles, inflation, visual noise and hyper-consumption. It is the sequel to Pax Israeliana, an index of Israeli Modernism, which was published two years prior. The buffer year between the two books is 1977, which marked Israel’s turn away from its European roots and the idea of the country as a socialist utopian experiment, ditched in favor of a future of individualistic capitalism, based on a free market economy.
