Oh my gosh imagine a scenario where mc wants to practice rejecting people/breaking up and Dr Sonnig has to help her. Rip him lol, but if you’re up for it you should totally write a drabble
"Alright... let me see what we're doing today." Dr. Sonnig readjusted his glasses as he looked down at his paper notes. Although the firm urged for everything to be done through the computer, he was still stuck in the ways of pen and paper.
"Hmm.. you've been doing really well with speaking up lately, I see! Do you want to just practice some more commands today,? Or maybe-"
You cut in suddenly, not letting him finish.
"Sorry, Dr. Sonnig, but... I have something I personally want to practice today..."
Sonnig's eyes widened but he smiled, pleased. He encouraged you. "Oh? Let's hear it!"
You looked at him with a hint of embarrassment.
"I feel like I need to learn how to... reject people. Like... I would maybe like to..." You scratched your neck nervously. "Practice? With you."
Sonnig's interest was piqued. He pressed his pencil to his chin and leaned back on his seat.
"Huh... yes, that is a valuable skill to have. And it's a logical step for our ongoing roleplays."
He smiled and nodded kindly, understanding. "Alright. Let's do it!"
The scene was set. You were both standing, Sonnig towering over you with a docile demeanor as you shuffled between your feet, holding your arm. His eyes crinkled in amusement but he gently began the roleplay.
"Y/N, would you like to go out for coffee sometime? Just the two of us?"
He was used to you needing a few seconds to reply. He struggled, however, to recognize the firmness in your response as you dropped your anxiety and looked him in the eye.
"No. I'm not comfortable doing that."
Sonnig bit the inside of his cheek. He tried to recover and continue the roleplaying, like a pushy pursuer. "Oh, um. That's alright. It doesn't have to be coffee. It could be dinner instead, maybe?"
You crossed your arms and shook your head, still looking at him with narrowed eyes. Like he wasn't someone you trusted. Like he meant nothing.
"No. I don't want that either. I don't want to do ANYTHING with you."
You took a step closer... he took a step back.
"I don't want to date you."
Sonnig felt sweat behind his neck as he raised his arms. He stuttered but failed to say anything. "O-okay, then-."
He fell silent, eyes pinned to yours, sweat going down his neck as he let you finish him off.
"Stop asking me out. It's never going to happen. I'm sick of you."
Sonnig swallowed, flustered, with a pit in his stomach. He nodded.
You spoke the safe word and grinned from ear to ear, sighing as you walked backwards to the couch and sat.
"Wow... that. That felt so good! I can't believe I could just... say all that! It really felt like I had intimidated you!"
Sonnig shook his daze away and smiled back, unclenching his fist as he took in a subtle, shaking breath. He took off his glasses and moved to his desk to clean them.
"Yeah... you... you've become a natural. I'm proud of you," He laughed and tried not to linger on the panic he had felt.
You beamed, a slight blush creeping on your cheeks from his praise. "It's all thanks to you... I would've never been able to be this confident before... I feel like a completely different person when I'm in this office. Thank you so much..."
He looked up at you, his heartbeat still firing rapidly, and his eyes earnest.
"No... I'm just helping bring out what was already inside you."
His arms were slightly shaking and his smile was slightly strained, but he forced his shoulders to relax, put his glasses back on and picked up his clip board.
"Now, let's analyze the experience and see how we can apply this."
