i collect webkinz, furbies + other plush of varying sorts. i post about all of my toys at my leisure.

the blog name comes from my "mission" to hunt down webkinz in thrift stores and give them a new loving home. the only restrictions i've placed on this are that i am not allowed to keep duplicates and i must pick up webkinz i don't already own, regardless of how much i personally enjoy their designs. i leave most duplicates behind for other collectors but i occasionally offer them to friends who will also give them loving homes.

not every webkinz posted is from a thrift store. i will sometimes purchase plush online if i really really want them, but i do not do this often at all as i much prefer rescuing them. friends and family will also occasionally gift me webkinz that they thrifted or purchased online.

webkinz are my childhood plush and they mean a lot to me. i am rebuilding an even grander collection than the one of my youth, and it is glorious. you are more than welcome to join me on this journey.

okay so i kinda thought i was going to take a break from the hunt until i could find more places to put the collection. that plan was foiled IMMEDIATELY this morning because a mutual friend at a yard sale i help vend at is also a collector, and she was downsizing her collection. and set aside a bunch of pets for me to look at. and i kinda had to do it. drowning in them, send help

got tired/had surgery/mento illness/etc but i'm on meds now and feel a bit better than i did smile :] this is purely a hobby blog for me and posting online is sort of my bane but i want to keep doing it because other people like #mypictures. weather is nicer now, maybe new pics soon....

well. starting up this blog in the cold months was probably unideal because my depression is very much seasonal and my disabilities are disabling. i'm going to make my absolute best effort to queue up some more stuff/take furby pics/post some non webkinz plush that i own... more coming soon, trust

☀️ the og leopard is by far the most common pet i've seen in the bins. i've come across at least four more since this find. real good sniffer on this guy...

“Albedo” - Webkinz Unicorn, originally released in June of 2005.

☀️ i really thought i only had two old oldies in the collection, until i actually inspected this pet when i picked him up to photograph him. lo and behold, he has the old magic W on his flank! this guy is 20 entire years old! holy woah! also i really enjoy how sparkly he is. so pretty...

☀️ the wiki page doesn't specify when this pet was released so i'm assuming it was at the same time as the standard version? anyways i really enjoy this fur texture and i wish they would have used it more... so fluffy...

anyways! look at this absolute beast of a peepy i picked up at the thrift many moons ago. didn't even know that they came in this size until i dredged him out of that bin! really crazy find because i know that these things sell out like crazy on the itemlabel website. how did bro end up there...
