Weekly Art Challenge #217 (June 2nd-June 15th) Favorite foreign food challenge!

June is here! And many of you are close to vacations, plans for the summer should be almost ready and sometimes in these adventures we love to try new stuff, including food! (Or maybe vacations won’t be here for a long time but you still enjoy trying new dishes, like me)

But let’s talk about your favorite  foreign food: sushi? kebab? tacos? chicken tikka masala? .. burgers?

Draw an illustration of the delicious plate you love that started as strange and now it’s part of your top dishes!

Notes: -You may draw a character enjoying what you chose! fanart or original, but keep the food as the important part! -All mediums welcomed

Well, it's no longer May, but you haven't put up the new challenge yet, so I guess Mermay drawings per Challenge 216 may still be acceptable?

This was a very rushed drawing because I've been very busy lately and I did it just before midnight for the sake of not getting through the entire month of May without getting something up on my tumblr, but it's the first thing I've really drawn in a while, and I guess it could be worse?...

This is Quinn He's a pretty suburban mer-kid, he normally sticks to lounging around the pool, but it's fun to explore the ocean every once and a while. It can sure get dark down there...

hey hey yo yo is the mermay challenge on for the whole month of may or?? i thought the deadline was may 14th but idk :'D pls help thx!!

technically that was the deadline but there are delays with getting the next challenge up as all mods are busy atm so feel free to keep submitting for mermay till a new one is posted soon :D
