Procrastination on social media... most of us can relate to it.
I am sure that everyone knows what procrastination is. However, I will define it. Procrastination refers to a voluntary postponement that prevents people from performing their tasks and can hurt productivity and wellbeing.
With the emergence of social media, this term is getting known more and more.
Social media provides users with the ability to create accounts and communicate with each other. The users are very often drawn into social media and they are not productive. However, social media is fighting with this by giving the users feedback on how much time they spend on social media. The users might procrastinate because of the rewards that SNS offer to enhance the perceived social  interaction opportunities, in the form  of âlikesâ  or  âpositive  comments.â
Social media has a power that motivates users to change their behavior. But we cannot blame completely social media as it uses different ways to make us feel guilty and become more productive by giving us statistics and feedback.Â
Hence, you are the only one who can control how much time you send in the virtual world. It is just like a drug, you are the only one who can fight with this âaddictionâ.
