LONG RANT ABOUT THE LORE!!!!
oh shit wait wtf nevermind the first half deleted WHATTT also the drawing of her is basically like when she FIRST joined the summer camp, liek before all the crazy stuff. also she has those piercings as a 14 year old cause she did them herself out of spite and pisses off the teachers at her school with it case she’s cool like that
okay basically this is connie manché, her dad, frank, left to start a cult based on fire bending n shit but cursed connie before she was even born. he didn’t even know what the curse was, so she was basically a test. connie goes to a summer camp when she is 14, one night, her and her newfound friends decide to escape the camp and explore, soon finding the literal cult her dad started, running into her dad. he’s disappointed in the fact his curse seemed to do nothing, and also the fact his daughter is an emo weirdo. he sets the forest on fire using pyrokinesis in an attempt to KILL connie cause he was that angry.
THERES A SEQUEL IN THE LORE
she has to go back to school after the incident, having already being bullied for being emo, and now having unexplained burn scars across the side of her face (they weren’t too bad cause liek.. curses n shit.. yk.. okay it makes more sense soon)
ALSO she finds out that she has been going to the same school as her friends, zach, james, and liam, this entire time. she never noticed them. so NOW she has a friend group which kind of saves her from being bullied as much.
ONE DAY she goes home and accidentally discovers that she has gained the ability to shoot FIRE from her fingers. she’s in disbelief, and immediately goes to her friends for help. none of them know what to do, but connie feels like she just needs to find her dad again, and try solve whatever is going on.
tbh i’m not even finished writing the lore
but there are a few little bits that i wanted to include
liam, one of connie’s friends, has horrible, homophobic parents, although he is a closeted gay with a very strong liking towards james, another friend, of which is openly gay.
connies mother, lydia, is a LESBIAN! she didn’t like being lonely after her husband left to go start a cult so she got with a woman (of which i have sadly not named yet)
also i cannot physically decide on if this should be based on the uk or usa. its one or the other, and im leaning towards uk cause thats where im from, but some aspects of it make me want to make it american
