Easter Peeps!

Well it wouldn’t be Easter time without the classic candy, Peeps! My mom used to love these when I was growing up and I could never understand why. I always thought they were too sweet. That being said, these are a classic for rebranding with different flavor. Today I found these new flavors!

Let’s start with a true classic!

Spotted Dick is one of my all time favorite grocery store finds! It makes me giggle every time I see it.

Any time it’s “spotted” (excuse the pun) by one of my family members, we’re sure to get a photo. I’ve never tried it but according to Wikipedia, “Spotted dick (also known as ‘spotted dog’ or ‘railway cake’) is a British pudding, traditionally made with suet and dried fruit (usually currants or raisins) and often served with custard.” Go figure!

This side blog was born out of a bizarre tradition in my family. When we go out grocery shopping and we find something that we consider to be “weird,” we share with one another via text. It could be anything from funny names, outlandish flavor combinations, or even interesting packaging. I’m not sure how it started but it’s just a fun thing we do. I can’t wait to share our weirdness with you!
