On Friday a friend of mine who lives in Houston, Texas, met an English man in a pub. talking about various topics, Joe Strummer's name came up. it turns out that this man, named pierce, was a childhood friend of Joe's. he told me that Joe had been in and out of his life for two decades. This unseen photo shows them with other friends at the isle of wight festival in 1970, where they went to make some money by selling marijuana to the crowd.
