It is lonely here without you,
I miss you more each day,
For life is not the same to me,
Since you were called away.
If I could have one lifetime wish,
One dream that could come true,
I would pray to God with all my heart,
For yesterday and you.

2 - 3 - 4...
I don't even know how Megan and I got started on the Teen Girl Squad videos, but it became the basis for all of our inside jokes. If one of us said, "I'm not sure what it is," the other would respond with, "Voodoo? Is it voodoo?" Anytime we didn't have an immediate response for anything, we'd immediately do The Voice and start going, "Errrrrr, uhhhhhhh...." So, on Valentimes day, we'd usually send this to each other until we were wetting our pants laughing.
I guess it makes sense that I'd miss her so much on Valentine's day. Nobody else gets my jokes about Technological Ro-mance.

July 1984 - Megan at a picnic at Grandma and Grandpa J's house.
Thanks to my Aunt Boni for finding this and a few upcoming others for me.
Also, I wanted to just say thanks for everyone's patience as the blog paused over the holidays. Christmas was tough and I definitely needed a time to breathe. I never mind doing it, but it can be really hard to go through so many old photos of my sister, and sometimes, I just need a little break. Thanks for understanding! - Amiee
The last picnic at Gram and Grampa Jacobsen's house. Their 50th wedding anniversary 1996.
With Megan, Gram Jacobsen, Kris (Aunt Joans granddaughter) Valerie and Jill.
Sweet, sweet memories.

Meg and Amiee at Gramma's Jacobsen's yearly picnic.
Each year, everyone looked forward to the backyard barbeque's at Gram and Grampa Jacobsen's house. This is just one of those memory filled times.

Aunt Pam and Meg. No, Pam doesn't have boogers, it's that gel glue and Pam being herself! :)
Pam responded: I remember this. Megan was so grossed out that I grabbed her and someone took the picture. I think I learned this from my brother Rick.

Picking paint, and laughing at me because I was going on about how there just weren't this many paint choices in my tiny town and that's why I needed to take a photo right there in the store.
