Crashing out in my real life has lead me to rewatching all the Marvel movies and Ive never written fanfic for Marvel even though I've loved it since I was a kid but now you know I am on the fix it au bullshit reminiscing for the days that Barton was in the vents

I also just keep shoving sad orphans into heroes lives like there! take care of this and stop fighting with your friends! family!

maybe ill post some of the ramblings for funnies I dunno... Ive like fully made an oc daughter for Tony Stark that he has shared custody of with an ex from before his Iron Man days. He's just a tired dad with a teen daughter that makes him think of what it must have been like for his parents to raise him...

As into engineering and robotics as her dad but also literature nerd like her mother, she could have been put on the fast track of education like Tony was as a kid, but her parents wanted to make sure she got a happy childhood

Her closet is full of merch for the avengers, mostly gifts from said heros after they meet her

*her Mom was a model Tony knew before he was iron man. He was not ready to be a dad then, so Mom skipped town to raise her daughter away from the like light and drama. Reached out after Iron Man activities and he started visiting them.

An Iron Man Dad Fic Idea

Tony Stark (of ‘I am Ironman’ fame) struggles with the weight of being one of earth’s mightiest (genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist-) heroes. But on top of that he balances his changing life as just Tony. His company, his legacy, his ever confusing relationship with Pepper Potts and the trauma that follows him like a bad cold.

Just as he was getting a hang of his 'work life balance' (not really), he has something new to juggle. He discovers he has fathered a child form his heyday of pre Iron Man Tony Debauchery. To protect his daughter he works hard to keep her hidden from the world at large, even Shield doesn't have her on their records. He travels enough for work and hero duties no one can track his confusing and complicated paths to Maine where his daughter lives with her mother and grandparents. Seeing his daughter in fleeting moments, watching the little girl grow up all too fast. 

Eventually, after aliens and gods and the actually forming of the Avengers, he wants her closer. Discusses it with her mother and they move to New York the same time he does. His security keeps her out of the public eye, and on his weekends she rides the elevator to his private level of the tower. Having her close puts his worries at ease but brings the complicated reality of actually being close enough to raise his daughter. Getting to have time with her makes it all worth it. 

Of course the secrecy couldn’t last forever…

The Ward of The Sorcerer Supreme Fic Idea

The Ancient One took responsibility for a child of a former acolyte of Kamar-Taj. Raising her and teaching her the mystic arts with the others in the community . So where does that kid go when the Ancient One dies and Stephen Strange becomes the Sorcerer Supreme? He inherits the ancient one's title and estate and so now he has a ward :D

Wong delivers the teen to the Sanctum to relish in the Stephen's confused and frustrated reaction. She's Stephen's problem now and he can't refuse his guardianship, it's a condition of his role as sorcerer supreme to finish his predecessors' unfinished business. There are prepared documents from the Ancient one so there's no issue with her not existing outside of Kamar-Taj, cause the Ancient One saw this coming obviously and she prepared.

The girl gets set up in a room at the Sanctum, Stephen has to enroll her in school, and deals with the complications of being the guardian of a magical teenager testing her boundaries in a new environment while she also mourns her former caretaker . It's like having a stray cat that hates you but he tries his best to take care of her and keep her safe.

I love when a sort of grumpy or just failing meow meow of a man stumbles into fatherhood. oh you're on the heros journey to save the world? now your a father and the parent teacher meeting is tomorrow get ready to hear about how your little angel has been too distracted in class.
