After spotting the horses, we checked in at Walton Lake Campground. The birdsong was crazy, and the walk around the lake was gorgeous

We spent three days driving around Central Oregon, our first stop was a cozy hotspring off 126, then we drove 2.5 hours to the 📍Painted Hills

Big day out to the creek. It was 60 but Alex got in. We heard lots of warblers but didn’t see any birds.

📍Oregon Aquarium Pt 2

Part two of our anniversary trip! I luv the three tunnels at this aquarium. Sharks are the best

📍Beverly Beach State Park Pt. 1

We just got back from our 8th anniversary trip to the beach.. and part 2 will include the aquarium :3

We got hailed on, luckily had booked a yurt. Watched gremlins for the first time. What the fuck lol people die? Gizmo is the only relatable and redeeming character.

It’s A & C’s anniversary soon, and we’ve got a trip booked to the coast to celebrate. Can’t wait to add pics of that trip soon :)

📍Salt Creek Falls, Oregon

Got some film back, meaning I have more pics from our snow day to share! Wasn’t much on the ground but we were thankful to play in something.

We’ve seen the waterfall four times now! It’s our most visited waterfall + it’s the states second tallest falls!

Gorgeous day to visit the lake and creek, we even found a new camp spot to stay this summer!

The beach, coastal forests, temperate rainforests, and creeks hug you on a 4 mile loop hike around the Carl G Washburne state park.

While enjoying a lunch before heading home, we got to watch search and rescue do practice off the coast.

We splurged on a yurt not knowing the splendid forecast to come. It ended up being sunny and 10 degrees warmer than home!

The fairy lights make any yurt 10x cozier ✨

And what’s cozier than a big ass tray of camp nachos infused with authentic campfire taste?

10/10 will make again.

Between the hike, the yurt, and perfect weather, and the meals, I’d rate this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ camping trip.

A walk in the woods

Photos from a recent hike, it’s a nice 3.5 mile loop, mostly flat, with animals like: bobcats, gardner snakes, deer, squirrels, woodpeckers, scrub jays, turkeys, ducks, and geese.
