Work in Progress: Chapter One: Just Thinking
Peter Parker was your average 17 year old Alpha male, aside from the fact he was nothing like the other Alphas he hung around. He was more polite and kind, much more considerate and submissive. Most Alphas go through a period of fighting before a peace is reached. Peter only butted heads with Tony Stark a few times but not really anyone else. However, his alter-ego Spider-Man was more like the Alphas in his cocky ways. He was not as built as most Alphas, but just as strong.
Peter was standing, staring at himself in his full body mirror, lost in deep thought about his body and his abilities. It wasn't until he heard the tap-tap-tapping at his door that he awoke from his trance.
"Oh-uh-one minute, Mr. Stark, sir-"
"Peter, hurry your ass up, Bruce brought us dinner and I'm not letting it go to waste because of some damn kid!"
"Alright, Mr. Stark!" Peter yelled louder at his door, quickly agitated by the man's cussing. He heard Tony grumbling while he walked away from Peter's door. Peter slid his feet into some Avengers slipper (courtesy of Nat), and stood up. Running a hand through his hair, he left his room.
Eating dinner with Bruce and Tony was always very strange to Peter. Tony was almost always venting about something and Bruce never seemed annoyed or scared of him at all. Tony was one of the most frightening Alphas that he knew. Bruce could even start some banter between the two and it always had Peter rolling.

The thing about Bruce that Peter could never quite wrap his head around was that Bruce was a Beta but Hulk? Hulk was an Alpha. Of course, Peter was in a similar situation, since the-
"Petey? Peter? Hello-o-o?" Bruce was saying, waving a hand in front of Peter.
"Oh-uh-oh! Sorry, Bruce, I was just, uhm, I. Was thinking. About things. Like what I need to do."
"It's cool, kid, just seeing if you were okay."
Tony looked at him and frowned, instantly knowing something was up. He had practically adopted Peter and knew the males' scent by now and when his emotions changed it. Only strong emotions could change scents. But Tony knew better than to pry.
"I uh, I'll just be going. Patrol around and stuff," Peter said hurriedly, grabbing his empty plate and retreating quickly. He was embarrassed is all.
After a few minutes of listening to Peter's footsteps, Bruce asked, "Is he okay?"
"I never know with that kid. He really hasn't been okay since he changed."
Peter quickly stripped down, slipping into his suit that Tony gave him. He flexed his fingers and opened his window before crawling out, clinging to the side of the building. He looked down at the traffic below, the lights of the city, the sounds and smells.
He took a deep breath and then jumped.
