FREE HUG COUPON
As I am getting older (and wiser, hopefully!), I am slowly realizing the importance of intangible gifts, such as a simple heartfelt hug. Although the idea of these coupons aren’t a new thing, I thought it would be fun to make a drawing depicting one. I hope you’re all enjoying your Valentine’s day in your own way! Happy Valentine’s day!Â

Valentine’s day post I did for YAWN! Hope you had a great one!
A little late but here's to a great year! 2014 hasn't been the greatest but I have high hopes for 2015! Cheers!Â
GHOSTS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!
Why do humans (and pets) get to have all the fun on Halloween?! This thought inspired me to draw cute ghosts in classic Halloween costumes. Hope you are all having fun putting your costumes together!

Halloween post for YAWN! Happy Halloween!!Â
S’MORESOME
I had this idea of combining the words s’mores and awesome together and decided to bring it to life! The fall weather really reminds me of sitting by a bonfire and making s’mores. mmmhh.

what are your favourite things to indulge in?
Anything sweet!!
have you got any doodles or artwork or writing to share?
Sure! I try to post my latest doodles and projects on this blog!
Let’s get (draw) some shoes!
Talked about instant gratification with my coworkers today and started to think about how I need to control any impulse buys. It could be  a fun project to draw everything that I want to buy! Started drawing random shoes and thought this could be fun as a gif or animation of the shoes falling. Hope to develop this one further.Â

HAPPY MID 20s CRISIS
Feeling a bit of the Mid 20s crisis lately…actually all the time. So I did this initial sketch for a potential card idea. Might finesse it further later. Feel free to share this with your friends who are approaching their mid 20s…

A piece I did for the Yawn Collective blog. I have plans to explore this in other styles as well as this topic specifically!Â
Music related stickers I designed for a "trumpet" case! You can click on the sticker image to get a closer look. I also wrote some of the copy!!Â
Fossil tin contest
I entered the Fossil tin contest about a month ago and found out that I was a finalist! I am super excited because it will be made into an actual tin! I’ve always admired their tin designs and I am in awe that my design will be made into one! In about a month, they will reveal the top 5 tins and the designers will be awarded with a cash prizes! Please vote for me! #fingerscrossed

Portfolio
Ever since graduation, I've been neglecting my portfolio website. I update it with new projects from time to time but there has been no exciting new changes. When I visited it today to upload a couple of new projects, I just find it extremely mundane. It also reminds me that I should start doing more personal projects to really diversify my portfolio. I can feel a website overhaul coming! Do you have any tips for me?Â
Mean while, I've uploaded two new projects on my site.Â
Cinderella
I loved Lupita Nyong’o’s dreamy blue dress that she wore for the Oscars. She looked like a modern day Cinderella. What I loved even more was her inspiring speech! So i’ve decided to paint the part of it that spoke to me the most.Â

I painted this for a blog, Yawn Collective, that I started with three other friends! Check it out!
Why, hello there. ;)
This cute Valentine's day card idea popped into my head and I had to bring it to life! Not sure about the colors though. Any thoughts?Â
best advice for a young designer?
Hi there! I still have a lot to learn and experience myself but I would say to work hard and do as many internships you can to see what's out there! Make sure that you're getting something out of it besides a line on your resume though! If not, travel!Â
