Though it would’ve been very easy to get someone to do them for her, Zephira often enjoyed running her own errands. The only exceptions were when she had business to attend to or she was elbows deep in translating. It was a beautiful day, and the Councilwoman was humming happily to herself as she entered the butcher shop. “Good morning!” she called out into the empty store, figuring the attendants where somewhere in the back.

Phillip was nearly finished with his shift at the butcher’s, appreciating that his boss wasn’t awful all the time and let him out on time most days. He heard a customer come in and went forward to see who it was, holding his breath for a moment at the sight of the councilwoman and feared she wanted more than just what they had to offer. “What can I get for you?” he asked cautiously, not wanting to encourage her too much unless it was for actual meat and not him.

She tried to stay as balanced as she could and being stronger that she looked like helped a lot. Making their way to the gutters she couldn’t help but frown “Do you have evrrything you need there to clean and patch yourself up?”

Phillip nodded his head slowly at her question, because it was sad but true. He had a pot full of things just in case something like this happened and there was no reason to lie about it just then. “Yeah, I’ve got plenty,” he said softly, feeling wary of needing help in front of the guards, but wasn’t able to stop it at that moment. He liked the feeling of Selene at his side, whether he wanted to admit it or not.

Mickey wrapped both legs around him as he lifted her and pinned her to the wall, pressing their bodies together more urgently with her calves. As their kiss deepened, she reached down between them – slowly letting her hand caress over his body before beginning to work her way into his pants. They didn’t have time to waste, after all and Mickey wasn’t the type to waste it either way – she was only stopping if he put a stop to things.

Not one for shame, she was quick to use the other hand to shuck the dress she had on – leaving it dangling over the arm wrapped around his shoulders for when they were done. She never bothered wearing a bra. Their kiss did break for a moment while she did this but she leaned forward to catch his lips again quickly.

Phillip loved the feel of her body on his and giving into his urges, that he so often kept hidden away. He groaned at the feel of her touching and exploring his body, relieved it was with his own desires, rather than another simply taking what they wanted. He helped her remove the dress she wore, their movements hurried and filled with the need to have each other.

“Fuck,” he groaned when her breasts were exposed, both hands coming to knead the soft skin, thumbs flicking over her nipples. He kissed her again, giving in fully as he pressed his chest against her, able to feel the pert buds against his skin. “Get my pants off,” he laughed against her lips, knowing she was trying but his only thought was to be inside her.

Colt held out to him without hesitation, “No worries. We don’t exactly have a lot to hold onto so – least I can do is make sure you don’t lose this.” He wasn’t necessarily the most selfless of people, but while he wanted to make his life easier, Colt wasn’t in it to make anyone else’s harder either.

“I’m Colt, by the way. I don’t think I introduced myself last time we met. Have you – been doing okay since then?”

Phillip accepted the watch and gave an honest smile in return, appreciating what the other had to say. None of those held hostage had much at all, considering the limitations on everything. “I’m Phillip,” he introduced himself, uncertain whether he had or not either. “I’m getting through,” he said with a shrug, not quite sure how to explain how he’d truly been feeling since the rebel attack and ball that proceeded it. “How about you? Been holding up okay?”

She moved quickly to help him steady himself “Sorry I don’t know if this is awkward for you but I can’t let you fall to the ground, where can I takr you?” She asked, wrapping her arm around his waist and passing his arm over her neck, starting to walk slowly with him.

Phillip shrugged a little, just enough for it not to hurt, but knew she deserved more than that, considering she was helping him out. He leaned against her petite frame and didn’t expect she’d be able to hold him up completely. “The gutters, I guess. Better to get back to my cell.”

Gen was relieved when he took her hand and she helped him up, frowning a bit to herself as she saw the blood and bruises, wishing again she knew potions to help heal him, or spells to take away the pain. She hated feeling useless. Gen bit her lip, hesitating a second before nodding to a bench behind her, “If you say so…but maybe we should get you to that bench just over there? Before you fall over and end up on the ground again?”

Phillip appreciated her kindness and that she wasn’t tossing him aside simply because he wore a collar around his neck. He followed to the bench, relieved to sit on something that wasn’t concrete for the moment. He leaned forward, putting his bloody head in his hands, feeling emotional and unsettled. He wanted to be able to do this on his own, but the beating was enough that he needed help. “This is better,” he whispered, feeling it all over as the aches and pains began to settle in.

Vaimiss had just locked up her store and decided to take the long way home, walking instead of flying. She did love that part about being on two legs, simply because walking required a tiny bit more focus and allowed her to let her mind wander a bit more easily. So far, she thought the store was doing well. The workers she had were good people who were dedicated to their job, and customers seemed to like the new inventory she had ordered. Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted as her ears picked up the sound of a male pleading, not a block away. Picking up speed, she arrived next to the one in question just as the master or mistress who had been punishing him seemed to have left. “Are you alright?” she asked, taking off her scarf and draping it in its full length around him, glad she had one that was rather large. “Please let me help? We should get you cleaned up and clothed.” she suggested, though also offered, hoping he would allow her to help him.

Phillip was more than upset. The entire evening had gone poorly, a rental he’d agreed to gone sour because he’d not held his tongue as he’d been trained to do. He hadn’t said anything awful, but it’d gone against the beliefs of the Master and his friends. When someone approached, he recoiled at the sight of the Mistress, uncertain what type of harm she might inflict upon him. But she was wrapping a scarf around him, causing him to feel safe for the moment and he sighed, knowing he needed assistance. “I don’t need anything,” he said anyway, “You don’t have to bother with the likes of me.” He tried to stand on his own but swayed, and figured he might’ve ended up with a concussion from how he’d been thrown to the ground. “Yeah, alright,” he said finally, closing his eyes as though it’d ease the ache in his head.

Phillip listened as she spoke of what had happened, though still didn’t condone the side that she represented. He considered how to answer her, though it didn’t seem she needed one. She was already set in her ways. “I don’t condone slavery, so I fought the War with the rebels, fighting against it. I was captured and have been this way ever since.” He cleared his throat, his eyes finding hers, “Just because I felt this way, doesn’t mean I should be locked up. Consequences or not, there’s not justification for imprisoning another unless they’ve truly caused harm.”

“C’mon, I can help with that, handsome,” Eros returned his gentle grip to the man’s arm as he approached him, hoping to persuade him just to calm down a bit with his demonic charm. “Just relax…” His eyes faintly glowed then as he exerted more of his power to make sure this one would run away from him. He seemed very skittish after all. “Tell me your name?”

Phillip wasn’t sure about the nickname, but the Superior seemed nice enough, at least willing to help him out. He appreciated that. He felt more at ease as the moments passed, his shoulder hunching down as he settled the uneasy feeling he had. “I’m Phillip,” he responded after a moment, glancing towards the other, “What’s yours? Tell me after you inform me where we’re going.”

When the man turned her way Calliope just smiled, even going as far as to politely bow her head to the stranger. At his comment though she looked behind him to the empty alley and hummed, “I suppose not. But maybe someplace nearby?” She asked before her smile just grew at his offer, “I’d love that–thank you! But…no? Why would I? It’s not something you have to do if you don’t want to. I won’t be offended if you say no.”

Phillip nodded his head in agreement, giving a small smile to assure her that he was safe and wasn’t going to cause any harm. She was new in town and he understood some might be wary of strangers. She seemed far too open for her own good, however, and a protective nature was showing itself. “I want to,” he said, slightly insisting just to get her out of the area, which wasn’t the best. “Come. There’s a sweet diner around the corner. I’m sure it’ll suffice.”

Mickey just made a playful sound in response to him asking her what she had in mind – that could wait. It seemed like he had enough of an idea though, crowding into her space when they had a little more privacy for themselves. She smiled up at him, “I’d like you to show me what you can do, stud.” Mickey almost purred at him, reaching up to thread her fingers into his hair and pull him in for a kiss while shamelessly arching her hips into him to prove exactly what she wanted.

Phillip didn’t often do this, but knew he was good at it, making love and being with another person. He was a lone cat most of the time, but looked forward to having a sense of intimacy with another. Once they were in the private location he brought his hands around her middle, gripping with the need to do this. He’d missed it. Feeling her lips against his own, he responded instantly, loving how good it felt to give in. He brought his hands to her thighs, lifting her easily with his strength, and pressed against the wall, kissing deeper and fervently, displaying all he wanted in that moment.

Violet offered him a small smile, feeling a little better already, she didn’t want to be in the gutter, or having to serve a supernatural now where she would have to put a fake smile on her face and pretend to have a good time, she didn’t have to smile for him, but it was good not to be alone. “It has been so long, I just wish I know if they were alive.” She knew it was a silly wish, but she missed her brother so much.

Phillip knew it wasn’t easy for anyone to deal with their circumstances, but this was beautiful woman who deserved to be recognized for who she was. “Sometimes we have to fake it until we make it,” he said with a shrug, “or something like that.” He nodded his head in understanding, “They’d never wanted me to fight in the War, and now I have no idea if they even miss me.” He was opening up more than usual, but somehow felt this woman needed to hear she wasn’t alone in her thoughts.

It was his free day, and he’d explored for a while before deciding to people watch. It was a good way to learn and a nice way to relax after a long week when you couldn’t indulge in much more. So he kicked back on the bench for a while, observing quietly and carefully – trying to make sure people didn’t realise there were eyes on them. He wasn’t trying to get in anyone’s bad books. Just learn.

That was when he noticed something with a hint of shine slip from someone’s pocket. Colt expected them to notice immediately but when they didn’t he took a deep breath and decided the best course of action was to let them know. He rose up from the bench and jogged quickly to the item as he called out, “Excuse me? I think you dropped something–”

Phillip was pleased to have a few hours off before he was to return to the butcher’s shop. As jobs went it wasn’t awful, but wasn’t great either, leaving him uncertain how to deal at times. He was walking along, checking his watch and slipping it back into his pocket as he moved. He heard someone’s voice and inwardly flinched before realizing it was a slave and not a Superior.

“Shit, did I?” he asked in return, recognizing his watch in the other’s hand. “Thanks.”

The frequency of beatings and their duration really had knocked some sense into Kade–they weren’t random at all. They were calculated, deliberate and often. It was because of this that Kade suspected that word about him had gotten out amongst some superiors. Coming from a family of hunters didn’t exactly bode well for him now.

For a moment he laid on the cold stone floor of the courtyard and stared up at the empty sky. But he refused to let himself stay down so, he pushed himself up with what strength he had left and stood. Catching someone’s eye he scoffed. “Well, what the fuck are you lookin’ at?”

Phillip had learned through his years as captive how to keep himself out of trouble, though his mouth got him caught sometimes. He was still rather clean, despite it all. He spotted another enduring what he’d faced a few days before, and rather than intervening, he waited for them to finish what they’d started. He slowly made his way towards the other, uncertain what he could do to help in that moment.

“I’m coming to help,” he said easily enough, reaching to grasp the other under his arm to help him stand. “Can you get it?” he asked gently, gasping with the exertion considering his ribs were still bruised from his own encounter. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”

Seren tilted her head at the traitor when she spotted him, having stolen herself a couple of bottles of wine as well as a platter of food from the buffet. “I uh…” she mumbled, looking up at the werecat “I mean, it’s called dibs and with all those dragons around, it was only a matter of time before the buffet table got cleared up” she mused, taking a bite from a shrimp. “You uh, doing good?” she wondered, taking a mouthful of wine before alying herself back on the grass- she didn’t care that she was meant to be working, it wasn’t like anyone was really keeping track.

Phillip was working the event and not in a great mood, but didn’t want the young woman to know that. He preferred to keep his emotions to himself, only presenting when the time proved itself worthy. “Are you enjoying yourself?” he asked, almost curious when she’d spoken to him so openly. At her question, he nodded obediently, keeping his facial expression even. It was never good to piss off the wrong person. “Everything is wonderful,” he said to confirm, “It is quite a beautiful evening, after all.”
