A fish could be nice! I think at the beginning it’s an investment, because you need a tank and a filter, but then later it’ll be easy because you just need some flakes I think. That sounds awful, I’m sorry :( How did you burn yourself? Maybe the barista will give you a little plastic bag of ice you can hold to your arm? And then maybe get some ointment and wrap bandages at a store on the way home? I did that after I burned myself in one of my labs and the campus health center was closed…
I was cleaning the expresso machine... and I didn’t make sure if it was totally off or not... surprise... it wasn’t. So now I’ve burned my thumb and part of my palm, and I don’t know what to do about it, but I will take your advice on it. Lab? Wow... you sound really smart...

She was - her owners told me they just adopted her this week, and it was her first day at the park. Her name is Oreo! I wish my dorm would let me have a pet, too… and yeah, I don’t really have the money for one, either. I hope you can save up for a pet soon, though! Oh no, how much does it hurt? :( I wish I could help…
She sounds sweet :) I mean I don’t even know my apartment’s policy on pets... so it’s only hopeful for now. Maybe a fish. Pretty bad. I think I’m more in shock than anything... and I can’t really get help. I wish you could too... I don’t think I can go back in time and un-burn myself.

Yes! She was a little maltipoo puppy! She wiggled out of her owner’s arms because she was so excited to be at the park, and then she accidentally wiggled out of her collar and started just running around, like super fast, but I noticed and I caught her! She was really friendly and kept licking my face before I had to give her back to her owners.
That sounds so nice :). She was probably excited to be outside and everything. I’ve been debating getting a pet sometime soon... I’m not sure though. I don’t think I have the money right now. More panic on top of this injury... and it’s just a burn. I can’t tell if it’s super bad or not.

They’ve got a neon sign in the shape of a coffee bean in the window so you can’t miss it. What’s got you needing caffeine so late? Got some stuff to take care of?
I had a bad night at work. I think I hurt myself but I don’t have insurance or anything... it’s part time. I just want to sit down and not think for a little bit...

There really is - okay confession, when I moved here, I took a few of those walking tours so I could see some of the history in the city. It was super amazing, and if you’re into that, I highly recommend it!
Good point ;) I always tip, I just know sometimes I don’t have enough singles which sucks… but sometimes they let you tip when you order online which is nice. There’s this good Thai place that delivers! It’s called Green Leaf and it has some really good food.
My mom loves to hear from me - she always texts me if she can’t get through to me, usually because I’m really busy studying, so I know the feeling.
I’m sure you can come see the campus! There are usually tours going on around here, so you should have no problem! Some buildings are only accessible to students, but other than that, you can see all the flowers you want :) I’d offer, but I’m afraid I’m not a very good tour guide and I’d hate to get anyone lost… I still get lost heh…. But it’d be really crazy if we ran into each other! :)
That sounds so fun! It’s starting to get colder out, so I should do it soon. The only pair of boots I have are starting to get tears by the soles... so I definitely need some new boots.
Online tipping is fine too, I just want to make sure they get all the money and some doesn’t go to the employer. Green Leaf? I may be googling it right now. I’m already in my pajamas. Like you said, people kinda sucked today, so I’m hiding away now.
I should call my mom soon. Hopefully it’s her that picks up though, or one of my siblings. Sometimes... there’s only certain people in my family I want to talk to.
I mean, I’d love to be a student. I don’t know if I have proper qualifications though, so I guess the tour is the closest I’ll get for now, but I’d love to see the flowers before winter hits in full force. Maybe I have seen you before. I don’t know what you look like so I don’t even know if I have before, but fate works in mysterious ways :)

It’s a really nice city to walk around in :) you can really see the history in it. Some places charge a fee, and other places have free delivery - but then you usually have to tip the person a few dollars for bringing your food to you. You can even order food online for pickup or delivery!
Aww :( I’m sure she misses you too! I miss my mom a lot too…. I try and call her when it’s less busy for me.
Please do! I’d love to see them :) There are some nice flowers planted on campus, so I try and see those as much as possible.

It seems like there’s history in every single crevice of this city :). I don’t mind tipping, honestly. I appreciate it so much at work because it’s not taxable ;) I think I’m going to take a delivery suggestion though... so if you have any favorite places... let me know!
I haven’t called my mom since I moved here... I should try to soon... maybe once I get some more free time.
Hm, I wonder if it’s okay if I just come and see the campus instead of learn there. I’m not an old creep, I swear... but I did almost work there... and flowers are so pretty this time of year, at least before they go dormant for the rest of the winter.

That’s good though! Walking is good - I don’t have a car either and I just walk across campus to get where I need to go. Delivery is my best friend when I don’t feel like going to the dining hall. Plus dorm kitchens aren’t so nice…

I love walking around here... Even though this is a city, it feels like the air is different somehow... still clean, still fresh. I’ve never had anything delivered. Does it cost anything extra? My phone plan is one you pay for as you go, and I’m definitely reliant on the internet.
That’s pretty much the only bad part. I miss her a lot.
They’re gorgeous! I’m not sure if they were community gardens or if they’re something someone wealthy maintains, but they’re gorgeous. I’ll try to get a picture sometime.
...There’s so much to see all of the time. I feel like I see something new every day. Like the restaurants... and I can see the ocean... there’s so much out there.

Woah, that would be absolutely crazy. I work closer to where I live though, which is kind of a blessing in disguise. I don’t have a bike or a license... so I have to walk.

You know what I see a lot of, especially from my apartment window? Rooftop gardens. Especially before September... there was so many gorgeous blooms. You could always do that. :)
Trust me, it’s different, but I think I’m in love with it.

I love them a lot… She grew a lot of lavender, and daisies, and hyacinth and a bunch of others. I always used to help her.

Better than me. I’ve never even stepped foot on a college campus... though I did apply at the Starbucks at Boston University.

You should definitely go. It was so amazing, I’m still regretting not getting a bowl to take home. I’ve never had one! Just the concept sounded really good. I’ve heard a ton of people suggest them online, so I think that’s what I’m going for.

Small world! We had pigs and chickens too but we didn’t slaughter the pigs… they mostly helped keep the ecosystem good and ate up a lot of the crops we weren’t gonna sell. We had some horses too! I miss it…

Shojo! It was honestly amazing. They make the noodles themselves and they’re thick and delicious... I might go back tomorrow if the deli is too busy, but I’ve really wanted to try a reuben, if they have them.
We only had little gardens for carrots and zucchini... little things we could take in the house and eat as soon as they were ready. Then I’d cook them and we’d all eat.
Can’t say I miss much, though...

Oh, what sandwich place? I’m always down to eat anything. Most of my meals were oatmeal and whatever was last slaughtered, so I’ve been REALLY adventurous in trying new things. The other night I went to a ramen restaurant, and it was AMAZING.
Seriously? We had some pigs and chickens, pigs for slaughter and chickens for eggs... but that’s crazy.

I got a bad grade on a report over some really stupid stuff and my argument wasn’t even listened to, at least four people cut me when I went to buy something nice for lunch to make myself feel a little better, and someone else stepped on my shoelace when I was only a few feet from my place so of course the day had to end with me falling on my face :/ sorry I don’t think you wanted to hear that whole rant…

Now I’m sorry :( I don’t mind hearing the rant at all, but you didn’t deserve that day. Tomorrow, you should get your nice lunch! I can’t lie, the second I got here, the food options were CRAZY. I’ve never seen so many things like this before! I even tried fake meat, just to see what it would taste like lol.
It depends on where you live, really. I lived very rurally, but there’s actually big cities too. I kinda still have my accent sometimes, but it’s not as thick as it was when I got here.
