Bailey held back her laugh as he proved her wrong and the blonde admitted she was wrong. âVery proud of you, I know how hard that was.â Her brown eyes rolled back at him as she let her hip fall to show how annoyed she was to hear his stories. âYou know I live vicariously through you, itâs the only excitement in my life.â She rested on the corner of his desk handing him the small callback notes and the messages they had left for him. âYou have a meeting with Carrington in 30 minutes regarding the Viltroz merger, Harrison called and said if you wanted to do lunch but I told him you were busy, and Melissa is expecting for you to join her in court at one, and then you should have a pretty easy rest of your day.âÂ
Wes only gave her a look at her comment, one of the few who could get away with sassing him. âSomeone has to have the fun around here and we both know it isnât going to be you,â he offered a cheeky smile, leaning back as she stated off his dat. At the mention of Harrison his nose went up, but was quickly pleased by the end of the sentence. She always knew exactly what to do before he had to ask. It wasnât a secret that Wes wasnât one for close relationship, and when it came down to it Bailey probably almost knew him better than anyone. "I owe you one for the lunch,â he pointed out. âIn fact can you order from that Italian place around the corner to have when I get out of court, and get something for yourself." Looking at the files she already had out for him, he looked over the papers from the merger. âDo what you can about getting me an pro bono. Few of the partners are getting on my back about it. And make it interesting. If I have to go up against another building manager for being a lazy ass Iâm gonna shoot myself.â
