‘ Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Honestly…I just use this as my excuse to drink super early in the morning… not that I drink early in the morning or anything. You know what I mean. — ‘
“No no, I get you It’s five o’clock somewhere, right?”
candice-bby:
“Are you actually, though?”
“Me? Oh no. My family are Polish. And I actually get to say that because they’re still alive, and in Poland. Y’know, does it ever bother you that half of America call themselves Irish just because their great-great-grandma’s cat’s friend once drank a Guinness?”
“Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Everybody in this town likes to pretend they’re Irish, right?”
ffsperrieeds:
Are yas teasing me?
Do I look like I’m teasing? You’re gorgeous. I’d like to spend more than a minute and a half with you.
blakehq:
“Well.. no, I just didn’t think you actually did it. I thought you were just saying that to make me jealous.” Blake explained, biting down on her lip. She didn’t mind that much that Paul spent money on her, and she did make sure to repay him in another way. Which sounded quite horrible, but it obviously wasn’t like that. She enjoyed his company, she liked the guy.. not in that way though. “Hey, I’m nice.” She fake gasped, hitting his arm playfully.
“Nu-uh,” he shook his head, “I said I could fill your place in a second to make you jealous,” Paul said with a grin. “Either way, it worked, didn’t it?” As her hand hit his arm, he grabbed her by the wrist, pulling her to meet him in the centre of the car. “A royal pain in my ass - that’s what you are,” he corrected her, cupping her face to lead her into a kiss. “Now am I getting a suit or what?”
ffsperrieeds:
Chocolate and coffee, it’s so bl - so good. ‘course you can, can I have ya name?
Yeah, it’s Paul. Can I have your number?
OOC
So Paul’s activity feed isn’t working at all either, so I’ll trace back the posts I remember leaving but please feel free to message me if I owe you one too! xo
blakehq:
“Ooh, how fancy.” A smirk made it’s way onto her lips when she pictured him in a suit. That was something she wanted to see. “So you were actually serious? You rented a hotel room at Oriental Plaza?” She questioned, with her eyebrows raised. “You’re spoiling me rotten, Paul Wesley.”
“You didn’t think I was lying, did you?” he smirked, taking his eyes off the road for just a moment to glance at her. She was right - he did spoil her, but he didn’t see any harm in that. He was never overboard with his spending, he just enjoyed the finer things in life. “Hm, tell me about it,” Paul grinned, pulling into the parking lot of the mall. “One of us has to be nice from time to time, right?”
ffsperrieeds:
I know, right?! Oh - uh.. I love a good Mocha. Do you like them?
That’s the chocolate coffee stuff, right? Sure, why not - I’ll take that Can I get an extra shot in there, though?
‘ Rough is an understatement Paul… ‘ She groaned into his chest. ‘ Thank you…I needed this hug, just… I lost two long time patients today, another person threw up on me, and Christopher is running a fever. — ‘
Paul raised his eyebrows, rubbing light circles into Nina’s shoulders. That was quite some day. “I’m sorry,” he said sincerely. “You have to tell yourself that you did all you can. Jobs like ours - they’re they closest to heroes we can possibly get. But we’re not superhuman. We can’t win them all.” He pulled back from the hug, offering Nina a warm smile. “And as for the throw up - can’t even smell it,” he laughed softly in an attempt to cheer her up.
blakehq:
When he answered her question, Blake gave him a confused look. “Are you seriously asking me that?” She chuckled, shaking her head at him. “Of course I’m up for shopping.” She said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Why do you wanna go shopping, though?”
Paul figured the S word may have put a smile on her face. “The fire department has its regional formal dinner next weekend, and I want me a new suit,” he explained. “That, and I figured we’d just go straight to the hotel, so we should probably get you some overnight things. Maybe a tiny stop in Victoria Secret.”
blakehq:
“Shut up.” Blake mumbled, and leaned over to peck his lips. She continue to leave small kisses until she stopped by his ear. “Drive.” she whispered, before leaning back in her seat again. Teasing him was also one of her favourite things to do. Especially when he got impatient, that was the best part. “Are we going to yours or mine?” She inquired, and averted her gaze to him again.
“I’ll take that as a no,” he chuckled, driving off from his space in the parking lot. In truth, besides a hotel reservation, he didn’t exactly have a plan for the night. He just wanted a little luxury, a little careless spending, and a little fun with a gorgeous woman like Blake to top it all off. That’s what weeks off from work were for, right? “Hm... neither,” he decided on the spot. Anything they’d need for an over night stay, he could buy tonight. “How do you feel about shopping?”
blakehq:
Blake just nodded as an answer, grasping his t-shirt in her fists as he pressed his lips against hers. While he walked off, she stayed where she was, watching him leave for a few seconds before she started working again. The only thing she could think about was, what was going to happen when work was finished, and the anticipation was high. When she’s finally done for the day, she quickly changed into a pair of jeans, and a loose white top. Grabbing her bag, she said goodbye to her co-workers, before almost running outside. Stopping to look for his car, she immediately saw it in the parking lot and she rushed over there. Opening the door to the passenger seat, she hoped in with a smirk placed on her lips.
Paul headed back to his car, driving it around to a space just outside of the restaurant. Sliding the stick shift into park, he sat back and turned up the radio and lightly tapped his fingertips along the bottom of the steering wheel. He kept his eye on the door, waiting for the familiar blonde to appear, and his smirk widened when she did. His gaze followed her around to the passenger seat, and he cleared his throat as she closed the door behind her. “So, are we done playing hard to get?” he asked, raising his eyebrows at her with that wind-up grin plastered across his face.
blakehq:
Sighing, she started cleaning off a table. “I’m working, Paul.” Blake stated, before quickly carrying the tray over to the kitchen. She was about to walk to another table when he spun her around, and she crossed her arms over her chest. Leaning against the wall, she listened to what he had to say. “Alright, fine. I’m getting off in about five minutes.”
Blake always seemed to put up a fight against Paul, but she would always come around. They had fun when they were together, and that was what it came down to in the end. “I’ll be in my car,” he grinned as she finally agreed. Without caring for who would see, Paul stepped closer, cupping her cheeks as he left a lingering kiss on her lips, smirking over his shoulder as he walked outside to wait for her.
blakehq:
Tapping her newly manicured nails against the wooden table, she raised her eyebrows once again. “Way to make a girl feel special, Wesley.” she said, before rolling her eyes at him. “Good luck with that.” she mumbled before getting up from her seat to get back to work.
Paul tilted his head innocently at her reaction. Blake could be such a handful - a royal pain in his ass. For what ever reason though, that seemed to be what drew him back to her. Waiting a beat after she walked off, Paul got too his feet, following her tracks. “Blake,” he called, trailing her around the restaurant. He reached hold of her wrist, spinning her round to face him in a quieter corner of the space. “You know I’m just trying to make you jealous. And you know I want you to be there. C’mon...”
blakehq:
Blake faked gasped at his remark, “Don’t insult Little Italy, you jerk. It’s not.. that bad.” she shrugged, amusement evident in her features when he removed the napkin with a face full of disgust. “Oh, am I now?” she raised her eyebrows, “I don’t know.. I’m pretty busy.” She smirked, before leaning her chin against her palm. Playing hard to get with Paul, would probably be one of Blake’s favourite things to do.
Paul raised his brows, smirk still firmly present on his lips. “It really is that bad,” he replied, mocking her emphasis. He sat back in his seat and crossed his arms over his chest. “Now that’s too bad,” he grinned. “But don’t worry about it. I’m sure I could find someone else to share a night at Oriental Plaza with. I don’t want to inconvenience you, or anything.”
