I'm just gonna go on a rant about Game of Thrones because I'm tired of people stating opinions like they're universal. From minor preference differences to full on arguments with strangers, in no particular order, my (apparently) unpopular opinions on Game of Thrones
Olly did nothing wrong. I fully supported Olly in everything, and once Jon killed him I gave up on any wish to have Jon on the Iron Throne. JUSTICE FOR OLLY!
The Sand Snakes are epic badasses and i loved every scene with them.
Euron was a great addition and his chemistry with the Lannisters was a great shake up to the status quo.
Seasons 7/8 did not feel rushed to me. It felt like a natural ramp up as the conclusion approaching and was necessary.
Dany's arc was apparent throughout the entire show and her ending made perfecr sense to her character. This is how i always imagined her arc ending.
The only interesting part of her Essos arc was deciding to stay in Meereen instead of going to Westeros.
Tyrion was never smart. He didnt suddenly become stupid in the final season, he was just lucky early on.
Jon Snow was boring until the battle at castle black
Of course Bran was going to be King. He's the first(not instantly killed) pov character of the show and book. And the scene is about execution. And the prologue is about people making choices that kill people just because of birth. So my logic followed that Bran was the only contender since all of the other protagonists had executed people

The Long Night is the best action media ever made. Period.
I think it was the correct decision to kill off the Night King before Cersei or Dany, those 2 are better thematic end bosses.

People need to shut up about plot armor. Ned's death wasn't impactful because he didnt have plot armor, it was impactful because it was the end to an arc. Same with Robb and Cat. "Uh, why did this person survive" CUZ ITS A STORY AND YOU NEED CHARACTERS ALIVE IN A STORY!
