WeStore, You Create: The Exhibition
WeStore, You Create: The Video
We collaborated with design students from Brunel University to turn everyday cardboard boxes into extraordinary pieces of design. At WeStore, we want to help people to make space, not stress. So when we conducted a survey and found that a massive 43% of the UK use one room in their home exclusively for storage, we wanted to inspire people to make room for their lives. The truth is that people care much more how they’re going to use the space than how they’re going to clear it. That's why we challenged students to think outside-of-the-box, by imagining what they could do with the space.

Ever had a van named after you?
Didn't think so. If you invest £25,000 or more into our equity crowdfunding campaign, we’ll name one of our new vans after you (first come, first serve).
Get your advert on our medium box
Want to make a big impression? If you invest £10,000 or me into our equity crowdfunding campaign, we'll print your advert or message onto every medium size box shipped until 2015!
WeStore makes room for the crowd
We are incredibly excited to announce that we have just launched a campaign on the equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs. This amazing new way of raising capital gives a much wider base of potential investors access to exciting startups - an asset class that was previously only available to institutional venture capital and angel investors.
Check out our campaign which is live here
Crowdfunding campaigns are “all-or-nothing”, meaning that if we do not hit our £400,000 minimum target, then we will not receive a penny and your investment will be returned to you.
Why Invest in WeStore?
Unlike a lot of startups WeStore is fully operational, generating revenue and has a growing customer base. Since initially raising a small seed round last year from early stage venture firm Playfair Capital, Wonga co-founder Jonty Hurwitz, brand expert Richard Fearn and two Schroders fund managers, we have been fine-tuning our workflows and technology platform based on real data and valuable customer feedback.
We also have an exclusive logistics agreement with SEKO, the fastest growing private logistics company in the UK and with a global presence of 120 facilities in 40 countries. As such, this gives us a strong advantage over our competitors and a solid foundation for growth.
Everything is in place and primed for expansion both domestically and internationally.
We’re really excited by the prospect of a new wave of people investing in WeStore and sharing our journey. We would love for you to be a part of it.

Packing Tips from the Box Pros
Moving house can be exciting but it also involves a lot of work! Don’t worry - WeStore is here to make things a little easier with a few pro packing tips.
Take things off the walls first - picture frames are easily knocked off and broken when you’re bumping around with heavy boxes
Don’t lift anything heavy alone - the WeStore team will happily carry your heavy boxes but we have trained professionals doing it; don’t hurt yourself!
Remove anything fragile from all routes and hallways in the house that are likely to have lots of traffic (unless you never liked them anyway)
Create an inventory for each box as you go - if you’re storing with us you can add inventories and even pictures to our website for each box
Sort things into boxes by the room they came from - seems obvious but it really saves so much time when unpacking
Good luck and happy packing!

Reward for missing duck!
Please help! We've lost our duck. She was last seen in this video. If you can find her, we'll reward you with one large box of free storage... for life. Visit duck.westore.co.uk to see if you can spot her. (Big clue) Listen out for "lift a finger... or a box" Thank you for helping.
The Box Club
At WeStore, we think inside the box.
Boxes make the world go round…or square, depending on how you see it. They are a common sight and many of us have even been lucky enough to have the pleasure of using a box.
Boxes help us make space for our lives, and yet, when has this contribution to society ever been recognised?
The answer - brace yourselves for this - is NEVER.
Shocking.
People see a discarded box and don’t think twice. They will tear them open, stuff them in bins, and never once recognise the majestic utility of the ‘lowly’ box.
Well, no longer!
This is the start of our NEW blog - THE BOX CLUB. We will be posting weekly in the name of promoting boxpect (box respect - obviously) so follow if you want to support the cause and help give back to boxciety (box … society).
We want to bring to the rest of the world the same respect, care, and attention that we give our boxes.
Here’s to BOXQUALITY (box equality - now you’re getting it!).
Team WeStore
We would like to welcome a new member of our team!
Ayman has joined us as Community Manager and we think he's going to like it here at WeStore.
Bringing with him an impressive list of qualities including a passion for cardboard, we are sure he will fit right in!
Welcome Ayman!

Top 5 Tips For Encouraging Teenagers To Keep Their Room Organised And Decluttered
Whether they want to hide their youth by stuffing teddies under the bed or piling up their room with the new crazes, here are 5 tips to help encourage a decluttered lifestyle:
Separate childhood – Memories of their childhood they may want to leave behind now but later on they will want them back. ~ Don’t throw away memories, store them.
Incentive – Offer an incentive to keep an organised room for a month, then reward with new bedding, repainting their room or even redecorating the room altogether.
Inspiration – Show or remind them of a room which looks similar to theirs (obviously not someone like Dennis the Menace!) to help them want to keep it decluttered. A favourite television character is a good plan!
System – Offer a system (especially if things are squished under the bed) and allocate draws/shelves to certain items so that everything has a place.
Clothes – Girls especially start filling up their wardrobe with the new styles, ask them to take out the things they don’t want anymore and tell her she needs more room for new clothes in the future.
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated
