Not really, at least not these guys. The tasselhounds are pretty happy if you just play with them or pet them. They do love snuggling, especially if you’re laying down, but they’re pretty good about backing off if you ask. Some of the other inanimals have more specific instructions, like the corkatoos and the pythorns- I can show you, if you’re ready to leave this room..?

Well, I don’t have any wolf inanimals here, but I do have bird inanimals. The corkatoos are pretty docile, but the tearrots have… more vibrant personalities. Scratches might happen, especially with the tasselhounds and tearrots, but I’ll do my best to keep them to a minimum, or just take care of them myself so you don’t get scratched. It’ll be okay.

Well, I don’t have any wolf inanimals here, but I do have bird inanimals. The corkatoos are pretty docile, but the tearrots have… more vibrant personalities. Scratches might happen, especially with the tasselhounds and tearrots, but I’ll do my best to keep them to a minimum, or just take care of them myself so you don’t get scratched. It’ll be okay.

*Mateo nods, feeling a little better as he opens the door to the pythorn area. One of the pythorns is underneath a rock, and the other is weaving through an enrichment area made to look like a bush. The one on the enrichment area flicks its tongue out at Rebbit.*

…So these are the pythorns! They’re from the rose bushes outside. They don’t need much, but they do like being read to! They’re very curious, so they might try to climb up your leg. If you want, you can pet them with one finger, but be careful with their spikes!

i kinda got inspired by how @/the-incubus-anon restarted their blog and i'm debating doing something similar and re-writing this blog because i feel like i'm a better writer now.

so i'm putting it up to poll
