I just spent the last 30 minutes learning that Fire Emblem Shadows is a thing, and that the only actual connections to FE it has are furry Lyn and Dimitri. I'm thinking I'll probably just suppress the memory of the last hour or so in order to protect my psyche. Maybe I'll see visions of Lion Dimitri in my sleep every now and then.

Modern AU where Dimitri and Edelgard get to grow up as siblings. When they're teenagers, Edelgard tells Dimitri he has a "fuckass bob" once and 15 minutes later he's standing in her bedroom doorway with the world's worst DIY haircut. Lambert had to swiftly escort him to the closest Supercuts for an emergency fix.

Every time I replay Azure Moon, I give Dimitri his NG+ haircut, but specifically only after the rain scene. It's the spiritual opposite of a depression haircut. His beginning-his-healing-journey haircut. A single hair tie, and he's a changed man.

Just had to hear the phrase "lady gooning" again in reference to some form of gooning unique and specific to female interests. This apparently includes enjoying very sweet, wish-fulfillment type romances with minimal sexual content. Gooning used to mean something.

Liked a tweet making fun of Faerghus, and from me it was coming from a place of love. As more of their tweets are now appearing on my timeline, I realize that that was not the case for them. I am now being fed Dimitri hateposts. I am.....not where I'm supposed to be.

Heart BROKEN fell in love with a character for his absolute radiant autistic boy swag went online because I was curious if he was intentionally written with autism and found out he is in fact a robot hence why he talks like that and has a hard time with relating to others/displaying emotions etc

I remember my first time playing Fates (I started with Conquest). For a while I hadn't done much with Odin, Laslow, and Selena, and I thought they were just homages to the Awakening characters (like Asugi and Caeldori). I gave Laslow the Awakening shield accessory just as a fun little throwback, so I was not expecting him to make a reference to the rite of Awakening. My ass was floored as I realized that he had been the actual Inigo the whole time.
