Bright is a nice little Alpine town in Victoria. It is a 3.5 hour drive North East of Melbourne. Of course with kids, it took us close to 6 hours with a lunch and coffee break thrown in. Two-thirds of the drive follows the Hume Freeway, so it is fast, but not as picturesque. As one gets closer to Bright, the scenery improves.
Here are some photographs from this trip

Fun activity on the Yarra
Had a wonderful time at the Presse cafe at the Windsor Station #Montreal #Canada. Loved talking to Ibrahim and Alfred and was treated to both the Americano and a Latte. The coffee is not as wonderful as it is in Melbourne, but then Melbourne is the coffee capital down south.
Coffee in #pressCafe at the Gare Windsor in #Montreal # Canada. Tried both the Latte and the Americano. The coffee not quite as strong as in Melbourne. Loved chatting to the guys behind the counter. They were a lot of fun.
Never knew they had a name for this. But then everything in medicine has a weird name.
An authentic Indian cloth bag...right here in Melbourne. Yay

We went to Sydney during the Melbourne Cup weekend. While Michelle Payne was getting ready to create history, we were taking in the sights and sounds of places around Sydney. We decided to give the standard Opera House and Darling bridge a miss and instead drove to beautiful Kiama to marvel at the blow holes passing over the Sea Cliff Bridge on the Lawrence Hargrave Drive. We did come back to the city to marvel at the Sydney Harbour Bridge at night. The next morning we drove to the Jenolan Caves in the Blue mountains and were blow away by the beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and helectites in those caves. It did put into perspective the creation of humans which take a few years to build and which would probably vanish after a few hundreds of years. You have to visit the caves to really appreciate their beauty. Here are a few photographs from our trip.
