I'd always been vaguely aware of the term Monster Fucking but up until Becca made a whole miniseries about it on her podcast I had NO idea that it was such a big thing.

Over the past few days i've tried to write about @she-is-ms-rebelheart a bunch of times. Everytime I had to stop because it was too hard. Eyes filling with tears whenever i had to write out "She was" instead of "She is".

Being on tumblr for over 10 years there have been many friends that have come and gone, but she was one of the few that stuck around. She always had a kind word to say, and would constantly show up for others whenever they needed support.

Whether it was buying fanfics and fanart of her favourite anime, or featuring people's personal experiences on her all too brief podcast, she always went the extra mile to show up for the communities that she was proud to be a part of.

More than anything i'll always remember her love for life. It was never too late to try and improve yourself. To make those big changes and take a chance at something great. You only get one life and she was living it as much as she could. Hearing her stories about burning man, or that time she was earning her pilots license, or how proud she always was of her children - i was always inspired to live my life a little louder after chatting with her.

She'll be missed, but never forgotten.
