I like that in the scene it’s emphasised that Lovro is afraid that Ivan’s love is just a fixation rather than Lovro taking and accepting it as the given case. At least that is what I got from the subtitles.

In other versions it was often that the isak character accepted it as the truth and believed it directly (thinking of Wtfock if I remember it correctly).

Maybe here it is because of the talk with Sonia being not as direct or it is simply a writing and characterisation choice, but it definitely makes sense with Lovro.

But I like it that he is clearly voicing his fear of the love being only a manic fixation rather than saying that Ivan doesn’t love him because it was all just a fixation.

Idk if that made sense but yeah..

Me personally I will wait with my criticism until we have seen the whole season. Then I will probably rewatch and then I will think about critiques. And I am not saying that people shouldn’t voice criticism, I also don’t understand every writing choice they made. But for me personally maybe something that does not make sense to me now makes sense in the whole context of the season. I think I sometimes forget that watching a season live is a totally different experience than watching the season all together.
