i love the good place as a show because it covers topics such as "people sometimes lash out when theyre scared" and "trying too hard to be a good person can make everyone around you miserable and turn you into a bad one" and "what do you do when your abuser has moved on to better things but you haven't" and "everyone has the potential to improve" and "its okay if relationships dont last forever" and "death makes life meaningful" but it also has frequent jokes about cock for people like me who think feelings are scary and stupid to keep us from leaving the show because we're ironically the kinds of people who need to hear about all of these things the most
