Here is finally my bnha oc!! I’m actually the one that asked for the help with finding a good attacking power for her here, I gotta thank you again for that it was real helpful! :D
Her name is Kiyomi Hotaru! Her quirk is called Axoltol, which makes her have the abilities and appearance of an Axolotl! She is a second year in UA High and is the class rep of her class.
Her quirk allows her to, once again, have the abilities of an Axolotl. Meaning she is able to breathe underwater with her gills, swim fast and regenerate any limb of her body within seconds. She can also regenerate her brains and organs but they take a long time.
Good Traits of her quirk:
- Kiyo is able to regenerate any part of her body within seconds, along with that her body goes through a sort of adrenaline rush to get the blood working to regenerate her body. So once her, for example, her arm is fully restored she will punch way harder due to the sudden rush. Of course it only lasts for 5 seconds after her arm regenerates.
- Her skin is able to adjust into a different colour when underwater, shifting from a pink colour to a black colour, like a wild Axolotl colour. She is only able to use this when underwater for a long time.
- Her tail allows her to swim at great speed, she generally is better suited to battle underwater.
- Her regeneration had a LOT of weaknesses. For example if she overused her regeneration there will be noticeably scarring on her body (as seen in the pictures.) If she looses too many parts of her body, she’ll start to loose blood and if she runs out of blood in her body she will not be able to regenerate until she gets the blood back. Her body will immediately get paralyzed and cause her to pass out until help arrives.
- If Kiyo is underwater for a while, once she gets out of the water her vision is immensely blurred. She won’t be able to see anything unless she wears special glasses to help her. This weakness is luckily covered by her hero outfit.
- Her body constantly needs to stay wet due to her skin getting easily irritated out of water, she usually is seen carrying a spray bottle of water when out anywhere.
Kiyo likes origami and spinach strudel. She dislikes fizzy drinks and dry weather.
Kiyomi is very confident and proud of herself, she used to suffer from bullying when she was younger due to her appearance but after meeting some friends who accepted her for who she is, she made sure that no one else felt the same way she did when she was young and always includes everyone in anything! Kiyo is very social, friendly, hard working and loyal, she speaks in a very confident tone and actually gives good advice.
She’s very protective of others and due to her quirk she will protect her friends no matter what. Kiyomi has good tactical skills and is very quick thinking, but because of that she also is very impulsive due to her quirk thinking and decision making. If her plans don’t go according to plan she easily gets overwhelmed, emotional and panicky.
Kiyomi actually doesn’t need to wear her glasses after an hour of being out of water, but she continues to wear them because it makes her look more clever.
She used to go to the same Middle school as Mina and Kirishima.
Her father is Mexican and is the one with the quirk she was inherited from while her mother is Japanese and has the quirk Camouflage.
She has a real soft spot towards shy people and will make sure to be loving and friendly to them.
Kiyomi is the real playful mom of her class, being the class representative she does have responsibility of the class’ mistakes and consequences. She’s been known as well for entering the classroom and clapping her hands before the class immediately joins in. Much to their teachers dismay.
