“No loyalty to the bosses
No loyalty to the institution”
parades at disney: here’s a 40 foot tall mechanical dragon that actually breaths fire
parades at universal: y’all remember Hop(2011)?
Ight but you can openly drink and there are kiosks full of alcohol at Universal So Take ya pick
have fun dehydrating at the amusement park, you stupid shit
Disney has more accidents recorded than any other amusment park franchise ever :/
Meanwhile Universal has had only about 21 major incidents
Wow. The company that has had parks open for over 60 years on four different countries has had more recorded accidents than the company with three parks that have been open since the 90s.
amusement part discourse
id like to state for the record i didnt remember hop (2011) at all before this post
this post has everything… parade ratings… disagreements about day trip nourishment… flawed statistical analysis… hop (2011)…
Didn’t that dragon catch fire?

Things happen in seconds. We react to them in minutes. We talk about them for hours. They mess up our days. We tell people for weeks. We think about them for months. They have consequences for years and they change a lifetime.
HR: if they work 40 hours a week u have to give them benefits
Big company: hmm okay. They shall work 39
HR: if they work 8 hours u have to give them a half hour lunch and intermittent breaks
company: 7 hours and 50 minutes, it is
the law: if theyre employees you have to pay for benefits
company: lets staff through a temp service and wait so long to hire them in they quit out of frustration
the law: You must pay them this and no less.
company: I shall pay them that and no more.
The law: you have to pay your employees
Company: then we’ll replace them all with interns
The law: you gotta increase wages
Company: we’ll cut hours
the law: you have to give raises
company: mayhaps they would enjoy an extra five cents
the law: employees have rights
company: around here we call them “independent contractors”
I understand it intellectually, but it still bewilders me on a spiritual level that people create separate tumblrs for obsessing over each specific interest, because I’m just here unendingly like BEHOLD, THE COLLAGE OF ME.
girls!!! we gotta fail more often!!! we’re so scared of failure and disappointing people and looking stupid that we don’t even TRY things! men?? men brush off failure like it’s nothing! if a man doesn’t get a job he wanted, it’s because they didn’t review his application fairly! it’s because the competition was tough this year! it’s because he just needs to try harder next time! men just DO things!!! and you know what DOING things builds?? confidence!!! even if you fail!! the more you fail, the more confident you are that you can fail and survive! women don’t even wanna try unless they are 100% certain that they’re qualified and competent and won’t disappoint anybody! but that is NONSENSE. men are out there getting positions they’re not even qualified for, while over-qualified but less-confident women are staying where it’s safe bc they’re afraid to rock the boat!!! DO. IT. apply for the thing! ask for the raise! enter the competition! get used to failing ALL the time! fail quickly and move on!!! if a cocky but mediocre man would do it, then for the love of god, GO DO THE DAMN THING. you are SO much more qualified than you think you are.
I LOVE YOU
