“I mean, we don’t know until we try, right? I gotta do somethin’!” he simply replies, charging in at the enemy with his not so strong weapon despite the warnings from the other. Before he knows it, he’s fallen flat on his ass, and he let’s out a little yelp of pain.

“Ow, damn it... Well, looks like you were right, huh... I gotta tell ya, it really sucks ass feeling so powerless like this... I mean, I got that small power from those gods or whatever the hell those things are in this place, but it doesn’t seem strong enough to do anything... I would be kickin’ some serious ass right now if I could just use my persona...”

“Never heard of Japan.” Sora responds after a moment of shifting around information in his head. He’s been a lot of places, sure, so of course, there would be more that he hasn’t been to yet. It’s a little strange, however, to find himself in the company of other travels and such. Unless the place acted a bit like Traverse Town in that regard—dumping of people when they needed a place to land. That would make more sense.

“I’m from Destiny Islands though. I don’t think you’ve heard of that either, have you?”

There’s something different about this guy, though Ryuji has a hard time putting his finger on exactly what it is. For starters, that spiky hair is almost unlike anything he’s ever seen, and those clothes...certainly unique. Is it possible that this guy’s from another planet or something? Is that even possible?

The blond just tilts his head slightly, almost speechless at the spiky haired kid’s first statement. “You’ve...never heard of Japan? Are you for real? I know there’s a whole bunch of countries, but I thought Japan was pretty well known...” he responds, still looking as puzzled as ever. “Destiny Islands? You’re right, definitely not ringin’ a bell, sorry man... Wait a minute, are you from another world or something...? Holy shit, didn’t think that was possible...”

🐏 》 Despite herself and all the challenges she’s encountered, there was still some joy to be found in a familiar face. In all honesty, she hadn’t expected to find him here, let alone in the predicament he was! ( He wasn’t in peril danger, per say, but he did look a little lost in the forest. ) For someone with the codename Noir, it only felt fitting to dash ahead in front of him in a grand fashion and boast her regional repertoire.

               Of course, it’s all part of her facade. Surely he’s recognized her by now.

         ❝ …Did that surprise you? I always wanted to try my hand at one of those inspiring hero-esque appearances. ❞

He’s never really been a fan of being the downer in a tough situation, but...all he could really think at this moment was that this sucks. He truly has no idea where in Terra he’s even going, but there’s a fire in him that keeps pushing him to find out just what’s going on. It’s not the best of situations, but surely he’s been through worse as a phantom thief, right? However, before he can continue thinking of what he's supposed to do, an all too familiar voice, and face for that matter, appears in front of him, just as “grand” as always for her. He can’t help but sheepishly smile, though in all honesty, it’s kind of a big relief to see someone he actually knows, and a fellow phantom thief at that.

“...Haru? That was uh...quite the entrance. But man it’s good to see ya!” he responds as he awkwardly scratches the back of his head. “I know the whole ‘are you lost?’ thing was just some sort of act, but uh, in all honesty, yeah I’m pretty lost here. Man, this is effin’ lame, but do...you know what’s going on at all?”

Ugh. Talk about a major pain in the ass. Throughout the past year, there’s never really been a dull moment, at least in his life. From exposing a high school teacher, to taking down the ones who had been behind the mental shutdowns and psychotic breakdowns and so forth in his own world, there’s always been something going on on. And this time is no different. Not only has he found himself in a completely different world, something is definitely...off this time. As far as he knows, it should be right in the middle of the day. But for whatever reason, it’s pitch black outside, something unlike he’s ever seen, at least during what’s supposed to be daytime.

“Man, why me... Being in the metaverse and all, I thought I’d seen it all... But uh...yeah, this is pretty effed up.” he mutters to himself as he begins to drag his feet along, wondering aimlessly in the dark. He quickly pulls out his phone to at least give himself a little bit of light in this ridiculously dark nighttime scene. Being a Phantom Thief, he’s certainly seen worse, right...? Regardless, he’s determined to find out what the hell is going on.

Continuing along his aimless path, he nearly trips over his own feet, straightening himself before he ends up falling to the ground, or rather...falling on this person he apparently hasn’t registered the presence of until this very moment. Before even taking time to look up, he puts his hands in his pockets, trying to keep his cool.

“Oh, uh, sorry about that, I wasn’t--” but before he continues on, he notices something very familiar about this girl, that striking long, red hair, there’s no mistaking it. It’s none other than the first year honor student from his very own high school. “Yoshizawa!? The hell...? Can’t say I expected you of all people to be here... But since we’re here, you uh, got any idea what’s goin’ on here?”

Great. If being brought here isn’t strange enough, now this...unknown territory went completely dark out of nowhere. Surely the dark is no match for a Phantom Thief, or whatever creatures await. Though, one crucial detail is missing

hello there!! i am very late with this as it’s been a few days now, but it’s probably time to give a proper introduction for myself and my muse, aka my Goodest Boy ryuji!!

hello again, my name is patrick, though i mostly go by patty online!! i’m 23, and i use he/him pronouns. you can catch me on twitter at pretty much any time, i’m not even exaggerating i have a wack sleep schedule atm, but anyway. i like to yell about a lot of different fandoms on twitter, my primary interests of late being final fantasy (particularly 7 remake), kingdom hearts, persona 5 of course (especially as royal only came out about a month ago), the witcher, rwby, league of legends among other things (feel free to vibe check me on twitter, catch me @ultimacannon !!!)

anyway i’m gonna shut up about myself and talk about ryuji, my boy, my child, my son, certified good boy:

-even though he is a very good boy, he is most certainly a vulgar kid. he will swear word at you with any curse under the sun except fuck for someone (atlus, let ryuji say fuck) -he loves his mom so much it’s so sweet -thought for years he couldn’t get into R rated movies because his mom told him it meant “no ryuji” -if you become friends with him he will be loyal as hell let me tell you, would literally die for you -if you’re a shitty adult, you might not know it but you are on ryuji’s shitlist and he will fight -despite his good intentions, he may very well deviate from, this boy craves attention -a proud troublemaker -his persona is literally a dude who rides a big boat like a surfboard -has a habit of saying things he absolutely should not say out loud (looking at him speaking loudly on the phone to akira about their phantom thieves meeting while akira is talking to makoto)

anyway to conclude he is a Good Boy and i care him, and i hope you care him too. please be his friend
