His life started out great. His mother was a Fae, whom chose to move to Earth after she fell in love with a human man. They married with his father knowing everything, and keeping it a secret. Gideon was born and they lived their lives happily, until one day tragedy struck. When Gideon was about ten years old, a vampire picked up on his mother’s scent. This was no ordinary vampire. Her blood was not only appealing to him, but he was aware of what Ellyllon blood was capable of. He attacked their home one night with the intention of draining him and his mother to death. His father fended the vampire off while he told Gideon and his mother to run, which they did. They fled their home and made it.. but his father was killed that night. Gideon moved to Mayfield with his mother, hoping they’d be safe there, and they have been for the past seven years. Gideon protects his mom with everything he has now that he unlocked his powers, and refuses to let anything bad happen to her.
Gideon spent the year living his normal life. He tried to do extra well in school and spent plenty of time with his girlfriend. He’d helped her search for her parents after they were lost in the storm. With help of the police, they still hadn’t found them. Thankfully he and his mom understood what it meant to loose a family member. And she let Morgana stay with them as she lived in the guest bedroom down the hall. But of course them being both teenagers, Moragana would come and sneak into Gideons room almost every night.
But Morgana vanished one day, without a word. Can he ever forgive her?

During the day the beach is great. At night, not so much. Kaelynn, beautiful name.
The woods I understand, but the beach? Wide open spaces don’t sound like regular weirdo hotspots. But I’ll make sure to keep an eye out, even though I think I’m very well capable of handling a few weirdo’s…. uh, I’m sorry, I didn’t even catch your name.

I’ve heard that alot. Mayfield being interesting is a popular description. You people certainly know how to keep the new girl curious enough to stick around, that’s for sure.
Well i'm not surprised that that's the popular description, well if you're going to go exploring. Take care of yourself, and be careful. Especially near the woods. And the beach.. there can be some weirdo's on the beach.
Oh, well.. that sounds logical. So you’re not sticking around because you like it around here? More because of your mother? Many have made me wonder if Mayfield is all that great to it’s residents.
Well it's not that bad. But yea, i'm here for my mom. If I were living here on my own.. well I wouldn't be. I'd be off somewhere else. Mayfield is definitely an interesting place to live that's for sure.
