When class is about not being overly emotionally involved with patients
When I could tell one of my (former - sob) athletes was concussed just by watching the live stream
At first:
When I found out I was right:
But he's really upset and I'm 500 miles away and can't do anything about it:
HOW SCIENCE MAKES ME FEEL
IN HIGH SCHOOL:
IN GRAD SCHOOL:
Basically the story of my life since I started PT school
When the surface anatomy instructor tells everyone to take their shirts off
Most of the class:
Me and all the other ATs:

When I drop by my undergrad while on break
You cannot inherit it. You cannot steal it. You cannot borrow it.
I'm laughing so hard. And we just talked about posture and body mechanics!
You're literally living my dream right now, im gonna be starting the honor program this fall at my local community college and then after 2 years im gonna go get my bachelors in AT and then go to PT school, what should i expect in these next few years
I'm living my dream right now! It isn't exactly what I expected, but it's amazing! First, I highly suggest you check out when programs in AT start at some of the colleges you are interested in. Many begin in the 2nd year, so you would tack on an extra year of undergrad if you transfer after 2 years. I also suggest starting your PT observation hours sooner rather than later, because once you start AT clinicals, kiss your free time goodbye! As for what to expect out of the next few years, expect to be exhausted all the time. AT is a rigorous program. On top of your normal classes, you will have 15-30 hours of clinicals a week, depending on your program and year. Expect to feel like an idiot at times. It is normal, but believe me you aren't an idiot. Expect moments when you want to quit it all, and then remember why you chose this and what your future will be like if you just get through that rough patch. Expect moments of pure elation and moments of heartbreak. Expect to fall madly in love with your classmates and athletes (they make it worth it), and your future profession! Good luck!
Story of my life
Sassy bones
Having to wait a week for internet at my new house
I love how you can tell who the ATs are by how they touch you. They are firm, but gentle, and not shy about it at all. Everyone else is still a little weird about it.

THIS TYPE OF ICE IS THE BEST TYPE OF ICE
i mean i love all ice so fucking much but THIS ICE…
For eating, for ice bags, for everything. All ATs understand how shitty ice can ruin your day.
Talking with my classmate/fellow ATC about getting our athletes to keep their clothes on
When I volunteer to demonstrate skin fold technique in lab and turn around to see the guys in my group slack jawed
Comments included "beast mode," "damn girl" and "I feel like a jackass."
I held my calipers like a gun, blew on them, and replied with, "and that's how it's done, gentlemen." Perhaps a little cocky, but I gotta show my #skillz
