My internship isn’t going very well. I’ll talk about it later when I won’t be down about it. I’m trying to find a way to transform it into a positive experience and being the bigger person but...
Today a guy was flirting with me at the shoe store and I told him that I ripped a spine out of a body... No wonder I'm so good at this dating thing wow
Today is my first day at the spa center. I’m supposed to massage people from 6 to 6.
First year in PTschool is done
Yey. Three more to go!
It was academically easy. I’ve done three years in medschool so yeah compared to that, it was easy. Mostly stress free too. Except for clinical exams but I’m getting better at them.
I’ve learned a lot and there is still a lot to learn and I really hope the material will be more interesting to me. I’ve barely studied for lack of motivation. But I’m still doing good. I’m probably ranked in the first 10th or 20th out of 90, I really don’t know. But I should do better if I want to have a lot of options once I’ve graduated. I’m going to do better, okay ?
I just have to get my shit together (Hopefully I’ll change my meds in september) and study, and be passionnate. And I guess I should begin to enjoy living. But that’s another story.
So by the fall, I’ll be a second year physiotherapy student, yey to that !
Oh hey, it looks like lungs! 🙃 And six miles under 6 min per mile! 👣 Felt great... to know this big kid still gots it, haha! Really, it's no more than the people I surround myself with. Between @rawrunning and @oceanlabatx what an inspiring community of people! Thanks for pushing me at least once weekly 💪🏽🏃🏽♂️💨 . Thank you @pautur for teaching me a love for sport and nature and leadership when I was really just a kid in HS. Thank you @martin.phillip.goldmountain for coaching me into the competitor (in life) that I became. Thanks to the injuries, tribulations, heartbreak and loss that taught me more about what's important in life. Thanks to a community that's breathed new life into my favorite pastime. Thank you @softstarshoes for making the best shoes I've ever owned. And to all the #naturalfootwear brands out there that teach people their feet are strong and capable. Just check out what their about. You'll find a small honest company producing handmade shoe in the US, that are healthy for the feet with sustainability in mind. They showed up at my house in a recyclable pouch envelope thing! So very minimal packaging. And these shoes last! And no, they don't pay me, haha. But, you know who I am if you've read this far! Thank you #ptschool, @therunningclinic, my mentors and researchers for teaching me some things about feet and running! ...Amen lol 🙏🏽 . #rootsmvmt #youraustinphysio #barefoottribe #keepaustinrunning #austinrunners #barefootwalking #runningrehab #runatx #latitudept #borntorun #minimalist #barefoot #physicalfitness #atx #austin #getpt1st #movementculture #rewildyourself #biohacking #jointmobility #spinehealth #themissinglink #freethefoot #preventativehealth #movementismedicine #justplay #barefootisbetter (at The Ocean Lab) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8F_mPnFdnA/?igshid=q0365ivdvi0t
