Thank you all for your interest in this blog! I can't believe I have over 200 people following me. THANK YOU!
When you accidentally spill cavity fluid.
Trying to clean body fluids out of a casket interior.
When you show up to work and your coworker had casketed someone who ended up leaking on the interior.
What my friends think I do as a funeral director
Successfully executing a heart tap

When I do a particularly great job on a restoration
RIP Robin Williams
"Is it true that everyone poops when they die?"
More importantly, why are you asking me this?
"Doesn't touching dead people gross you out?"

When someone tells you the deceased's hair/makeup "doesn't look natural."
The first time doing a six-point autopsy embalming by yourself
When you overhear a mourner say "they look better now than they did when they were alive!"
Saturday morning funerals
When a family can't decide what shoes they want their deceased loved one to wear
