Me: *runs claim* This requires a prior authorization

Patient: How much is it if I bought it?

Patient: Why did my doctor write this?!?! It's so expensive

Me: .... Both of these are available over the counter...

Why is it called that? Drug names have reasoning behind them

Bewildering to the average person, the brand names of drugs follows a complicated, but somewhat logical process. It helps to know a bit of Latin to figure it out.
