Messing around with some patterns from early WWG drawings. The last Garden Gathering is this Saturday! Then I’ll be working on scanning and designing the pattern. After that, I’m looking forward to a organizing a couple community screenprinting sessions -- dates TBD later in July and August.
These thank you’s are headed to the amazing Garden Gathering co-hosts.
Our mission is to provide Americans of all backgrounds and beliefs with the opportunity to record, share, and preserve the stories of our lives.
Part of What We Grow is collecting and sharing stories. We will use the StoryCorps app to record short interviews with Prospect Park residents about the things they grow and why.

Welcome!
What We Grow is happening in the Prospect Park neighborhood of Minneapolis March-October 2016. Funded and supported by Jerome Foundation and Textile Center of Minnesota, artist and Prospect Park resident Sarah Nassif will explore gardens, gardener stories and what it means to be a part of a rapidly growing community in the city of Minneapolis.
Stay tuned for more news! There will be picnics! Screenprinting! Outdoor drawing forays and garden produce tasting!
