What Would Buffy Where?: The One Ring

The most important part of Buffy's wardrobe for the next little while will be this guy. The Claddagh Ring that Angel gives her for her birthday, a token of his undying (HAH, GET IT? CAUSE HE'S D-) love for her and a traditional wedding band in Ireland. 

I had my own Claddagh from the boy I thought I'd marry one day. Let's just say it ended about as well as Buffy and Angel did. I mean, I didn't run him through with a sword and send him to a hell dimension where he writhed in pain for what seemed like endless time (unfortunately.) but it was a very special moment in our relationship. They're really lovely rings and are a great and unique way of showing you belong to someone.

The Birthday Girl looks just lovely in her black and white (surpriiiiise) mini dress with (surrrrPRIIIISE) what looks like knee high boots, a white jacket that's about the same length as her skirt, and a lovely over the shoulder tan purse. Boy, can that girl pull off white.

What Would Buffy Wear?: After Being Kept Up All Night By An Evil Alien-esque Back-Clinging Egg.

Don't mind the tired face, Buffy seems to pull outfits together even with lack of sleep due to the worry of a crazed hellspawn egg monster crawling around her room all night. Is it just me, or did that give everyone the wiggins? Buffy's looking refreshed and pretty with plaid pants, a purple tank and a lovely grey cardigan. Another purple necklace and her cute, tiny backpack. Don't worry dear, we'll forgive the hair.

Buff seems to be digging the purple lately, with a groovy printed purple and red spaghetti-strap top and a long purple skirt. A pretty purple necklace and oh, look, even her little Egg baby's bed is purple too.

A casual little outing with Joyce seems to include a long-sleeve purple v-neck and black pants. Paired with an adorable tiny black backpack (any guesses what's in there? A stake? Holy water? Lipgloss and breath mints?) and her cross necklace, this seemingly simple outfit gets a dose of character with Buffy's penchant for cute accessories. Now the question is, what are in those shopping bags?

To my Scoobies!

My amazing followers, thank you all for the great feedback and I want to apologize profusely for my lack of posts in the last 9 months. I've moved, had to find a new job, and gone through a whole whackload of family stuff that had basically made my life like living on the Hellmouth, and as you can hopefully understand, blogging has been the last thing on my mind. 

I do, however, plan to keep going with this blog and hopefully update at least every other day! I've missed it, and also have made a promise to myself that I'd start writing more, PLUS it's that time in my life where I need a good sit-down, Buffy re-watch. Hopefully this will get me inspired and I will be able to bring you near-daily Buffy fashion goodness.

So thank you to everyone who has stuck around, and I promise not to pull an Anne and desert you guys again.

Can you do her outfits from The Zeppo? I'm just generally amused by how she doesn't look particularly put together in that episode because she usually looks so good. Maybe it's just because the episode was so Xander-centric. I don't know.
