A gift I drew for my lovely Darling @illupo-23 as part of GGFC's Secret Santa event! I had a lot of fun working on it <3
Feel free to join the Ghost Game Fan Club server where we discuss eggs, soup, and Digimon (sometimes Ghost Game but not always)! We're very normal I swear!

digimon girls were so cool
Ryo Akiyama was the main protagonist in a series of four interconnected WonderSwan handheld games that bridged the storylines of the first two Digimon Adventure series with Digimon Tamers.
These games are:
Digimon Adventure: Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer (released as two versions)
Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers (co-starring Ken Ichijouji)
Digimon Adventure 02: D1 Tamers
Digimon Tamers: Brave Tamer
His appearance in Digimon Tamers acts as the conclusion to the story told across these games, which explains his history as a universe-traveling Tamer and his connection to Cyberdramon (who was previously his partner, Monodramon, before a forced Jogress Evolution).
Ryo Akiyama's connection to Rika Nonaka in Digimon Tamers is centered on their shared history as highly skilled Digimon Card Game players.
Rika Nonaka, also known as the "Digimon Queen," is a multi-championship winning player.
The information available indicates that Rika had only ever lost to Ryo Akiyama in the Digimon Grand Prix, which occurred a few years before the events of the main series.
This past defeat explains why Rika seems to resent him when she first meets him in the Digital World.
After Ryo mysteriously vanished (the year he won the card tournament), Rika won the title of "Digimon Queen."
Ryo Akiyama's fate immediately after the D-Reaper battle is that he was forced to separate from his Digimon partner after the battle against the D-Reaper, while bio-merging with Cyberdramon to become Justimon.
When the D-Reaper was defeated and the Juggernaut program was activated (which devolved the D-Reaper and caused the other Tamers' Mega-level partners to devolve,) Justimon split back into Ryo and Cyberdramon who in turn devolved to his Rookie form, Monodramon.
The final scene of the Digimon Tamers series shows the Tamers' Digimon returning to the Digital World, leaving Ryo and the other Tamers behind in the Real World.
