The Toothpaste

The Paper, not Plastic

I'm excited to get a bunch of paper bags in getting our groceries. Jeffrey is a paper kind of guy, and I appreciate his eco-friendly ways.

The Pigeons in the Park

When we did our engagement photos, we stumbled upon a batch of crackers in the park that we could feed pigeons with.

I hope we can spend many an afternoon and much of our old age feeding pigeons. :)

The Haikus

I want to improve my haiku skills too Jeffrey! (See poorly written haiku below.) I love how much he is inspired to whip them out. I hope we can both have haiku writing sessions.

The Kilamanjaro Climb

We have a hope of being able to train and climb up Kilamanjaro. Our clocks are ticking though. We really got to get training. I want to do this by the time I am 35. Maybe we can see elephants and giraffes from up top?

The Trips to Belgium

My dad and brother are moving to Belgium in January and I can't wait until Jef and I can go visit them. Our hope is next summer, but if that doesn't happen, we will make it out around Christmas time. I just want to go now.

The Limes

I love going to Chipotle and seeing Jef demolish a whole lime orchard. He really wants to spice things up. Don't forget our growing addiction to limeade.

I love holiday greenery, and I would actually like to partake in the tradition of hanging mistletoe above the door. It's pretty, especially when hung with a red ribbon.

The Leftover Takeout

Yummy. I could go for some Chinese food with Jeffrey about now. It will be fun to store the sweet takeout boxes in our fridge for an aesthetically pleasing look.

The Really Really Bad Movies

That's right. I think Jef and I love us some bad overacting, as done by Nicolas Cage. I love that we can both make fun of it and have a great time appreciating really bad actors and movies in some cases. I hope that we can tread lightly in the dangerous arena of bad film in order to be submerged in the good. He's the only one I'd want to watch a Nicolas Cage movie with.

The Wrestling

Jef is probably one of the funniest people to try and pin, especially because he is so ticklish. Tickling is synonymous with wrestling in the Caine family dictionary, because they all have a bad case of tickle-itus. It's a fight to the death for a tickle fight to break out. Hehe. Jef doesn't know what he's in for.

The Cookie Decorating

The Pillow Fort

How fun it will be, when it is cold outside, to create a house within a house! We can do all sorts of things in this great castle! Chess, campfire stories, sip hot chocolate. It will be our secret hideout, and world you can't come in.

The Candy Canes

I am excited to hang the candy canes on our tree next to our collection of ornaments. We better not hang them on the branches too close to the ground, though. I don't want the anteater to get at them!

The Ornament Collection

I think that we should start the yearly tradition of purchasing a new ornament for said tree. Something that we get on a fun trip, or that reminds of that year. Yes, that sounds like something grand.

The Christmas Lights

White lights? Or colored? I go for the tackiness of the colored lights every Christmas, but Jef prefers the boring white. Sure they have their usefulness, but Christmas time is the only time of the year where you can get away with the obnoxiousness of colored lights.

The battle will rage on, and it will be interesting to see who wins or how we reach a compromise.

The Christmas Tree

I hope that over Thanksgiving breaks, we will be able to find time to put up our own Christmas tree. It doesn't have to be much. Just our own. I would love the smell of an evergreen in our small space. :)
