I decided I wanted to share some of my art. So I will try to do one piece/day for the next week or so. These are my rib cages. A lot of my drawing/painting/etc work is about the physical mechanisms of the body and how they work biologically versus how we see those body parts and try and relate them to emotions or ideas. It’s about trying to “fix” and it is about the idea that we decay. It’s about perceptions versus reality and these are my rib cages. Relatively fragile bones that protect so much of me (and of all of us) that is vital. At least in the physical sense.
