Drunk headcanon:
Based on canon evidence, Senji becomes a testosterone-charged bull whenever heâs plastered. Flexing and showing off his physique, heâs brash, competitive and eager for anyone to try and outdo him. For a head canon, I think he could be less nervous around women this way.
Sex headcanon:
For being an attractive, physically fit man, Senji is very inexperienced with intimacy. Canonly, he becomes nervous around the female body, especially if he can see her curves emphasized in any way (he goes batshit if he sees cleavage). I think itâs because of how his life went. He was a rookie cop at 18, too busy discovering his Branch of Sin and using it in post-disaster Tokyo and its street gangs. Maybe heâd always been a nervous teenager when it came to sex and relationships and didnât have time to outgrow it. By the time he was 21, his police friends had been slaughtered, and by 22, he was sentenced to prison under false charges so he could become an experiment like the other Deadmen. Four years passed and he spent all of that time training himself, surviving, becoming cynical.
If Senji was approached by a woman and she had the patience to deal with his nervous outbursts, helping him feel more comfortable as they developed a relationship, he would treat her right. He would be gentle with her. At first he might be hesitant, then he would dare to explore because itâs a new experience. Later, he might even act out his smug, confident side and use his Crow Claw to slice through buttons, clothing, oh the possibilitiesâŠ

Sleep headcanon:
After a long day of physical training to prepare for battles and stay fit, Senji is the type to sink into his bed and sleep like a log. He relies on an alarm to wake him, otherwise he might sleep through his personal schedule. Being a man who likes to stay mentally alert and prepared for anything, he tries to have at least 7-8 hours of rest. The Deadmen of G-Block seem to live almost normal lives, so long as they can stay alive in the games, so heâs relaxed and sleeps stretched out on his back most of the time. Â
Mood headcanon:
Senji has a gritty personality with a determination not to be brought down. He tries to impress his old mentorâs ways upon himself, staying cool-headed, rational and empathetic. But thereâs parts of Senjiâs upbringing, too; he is resilient, often hard-boiled and refuses to give up on his goals. He can be hot-headed at times, and when heâs angry, heâs a force to be reckoned with. Though he believes himself not to be that same quick-acting rookie brat he used to be.Â
"He?"
Now, Reijiâs curiosity is in play. He could very well be connected to this school, however⊠hm⊠Ah, yes, the question at hand. "Two months or so. Regrettably, I have lost count of the days."
For so many new faces, meeting a clueless man, Senji still felt like this must be connected somehow. "Tamaki. He's childish enough to pull somethin' like a talking toy and a bunch of people stranded on an island, wanting them to kill each other."
"--Two months?" Now this didn't add up, unless the warden had it set up for a while. There's no way of knowing for sure. "Well, you ain't dead yet. You must have seen a lot."
" Itâs not just one person! Also the magazine dates! Television! Calendars! Do you ever look arouâ-"
Ah wait, what did this guy say⊠10 years? Basically future of the future from Yamashinaâs point of view⊠He gave a nervous laugh.
" âŠ.2024? Are you serious?"
Even if the man has a valid point, not a week had passed since Senji arrived. He hadn't looked at any magazines or calendars. Not even television, but the notion is too ridiculous. The man sounded truthful, albeit nearly hysterical. Or he was just hallucinating.Â
"I haven't been here very long. So before I start questioning if you're supposed to be on meds, I need to see evidence."
The last thing he needed was some type of schizo caught in another point in time.Â
" Hey, I heard the funniest thing today⊠"
" They said that itâs 2014. Maybe this island just has different years in something, thatâs it rightâŠ.? "
How guillble is this guy?
"...You always believe everything you hear? This isn't some kind of sci-fi where the talking bear used a time machine to take us back ten years."
"Are you certain you didnât sign up for another playground, a place befitting of over-muscled brutes with the body of a plough-horse and the mentality of a child?â
Nailed it.
Someone liked to hear himself talk, but Senji just heard pretentious jabbering. He smiled thinly, thumbs jutting out of his pockets. "You're thinking of the wrong place. I'm surrounded by scrawny punks that might blow away in the wind."
Senji Kiyomasa requested by aetherreise
"Thatâs⊠amazing."
His voice flat as he speaks, of course. Still, the stranger had a valid point. "Perhaps. Only a madman would consider the use of stuffed bears as a scare tactic."
"Keh, this is almost somethin' he would pull."
"But there ain't anyone from that prison around here." He glanced towards the school, then the surrounding island. "How long have you been here?"
[ â ] âLike livestock, I tell ya. Workâs work, though.â
âBut, uh, donât really do what people tell me to do ân all. Workinâ solo, you donât take orders.â
The girl looked like she was wearing a costume, somehow not surprising in a place like this. "How long has that worked for you, kid? I don't plan on killing without a reason. I wanna know who's behind the talking bear and if they're just all bark."
"Would you believe me if I told you that the studentsâ lives are willingly run by said teddy bear?"
"I've seen big fluffy ducks with rifles, they were only there to show how fucked-up the guy pulling the strings was. Whoever's controlling it must be powerful if they let that happen."
"...It ain't the same as DW, but there's some level of unbalanced when a damn teddy is tellin' you to kill people. I didn't sign up for another playhouse."
