La Belle Dame sans Merci by Frank Dicksee
The Unicorn Rests in a Garden (from the Unicorn Tapestries)
1495–1505
We are all just beautifully haunted houses. Tell me what’s rattling the chains in your attic, and I’ll show you my basement ghosts.
btw it's so fucking stupid you can be anxious physically in your body even after you've decided mentally you don't care. I'm supposed to be in charge here
somewhere, there’s moonlight on the ocean
they should invent a body that feels normal to be inside of
just found out you can do more than one thing each day. i was just doing the one
Oh to be eleven years old and finding a life-changing obscure paperback in the library
the starless sea is so incredibly atmospheric. the imagery is so vivid and beautiful, it read so much like magic. genuinely it's one of the most beautiful books i've ever read in my life
dandelions are magic. literally tiny suns in the grass that turn into the moon and then the stars when you blow on them. fucking insane.
we need to be weirder & so so earnest now more than ever
we're just a giant ball of matter flowing in a huge space of nothing with the occasional planets and rocks here and there. we're one of so many planets, and our planet has life and nature and a pretty intelligent species, who decided on taking all of these facts, dividing our one planet in a way that makes us destroy each other and the world around us. everytime the artemis ii crew posts another picture of our planet, i am reminded of how small we are if you take everything in consideration, and how we only have this one, beautiful planet and how we should just love all of it, and everyone who lives on here.
My spirit soars where the air goes thin.
M’lord be it gay if I doth touch lance tips with Ser Gawain?
