"I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting your sister. My father has spoken of her plenty over the years, but any time seeing her in person was required, he always went alone or sent one of his higher-ups." It was a shame, really. Alex wondered if she was just as beautiful in person as she was in her pictures. "What else besides the obvious needs to be wrong for me to say unfortunately? I think the fact that he’s a criminal mastermind who is shite at being a father is enough reason, don’t you?"
"Oh, you must meet her, then. She provides, ah... Services, if you'd be interested. I would prefer to opt out, but... That's only me." Alex had a point, though, about his father, that was one thing that Ian knew for sure. James Moriarty had never been fit to be a father, and not unlike Alex's situation with Irene, Ian had never seen the man's face. He had heard many stories from others, yet had never gone out of his way to see him for himself. It could be easy, but it could also be one of the hardest things he could ever do. "You know, you're right. He's not... Father material. How exactly did the whole father thing come about, then?
Quirking a brow, Sebastian sat back from the bar he’d found himself propped against, hand idling near his short glass of Scotch, half empty. If this was the way—Ian?—went around picking blokes up, Sebastian was surprised he had any luck at all. “Of all the reasons in the world for me tae drop dead, the last one on the very, very long list, would be this.” Lifting his fag in a mild salute, Sebastian took a cursory drag. “Murder, though. That’s a better option. At least in the top five.” It’d probably be funnier if he were joking. “Sebastian Moran. Can I get you a drink?”
It was easier than he'd thought, the conversation. Although Ian had always been what he would call a people person, he never quite had the knack to start conversations they way he'd like. But this was different, no. This was just a chance meeting at a seedy bar, and now he was being offered a drink.
With a roll of his eyes and a nod accompanied by a smirk, Ian leaned himself against the bar and looked over the other, blinking slowly and nodding once more. "I'll have what you're having, then. But not before you tell me everything there is to know. It's... A new policy of sorts."
"Then all of those things are absolutely true. And who are you, exactly?”
"Ah, you officials and needing identities. Do I have to tell you? It's much more fun if I'm more secretive, don't you know?~"
The brunette’s frown deepened as she scanned the messages. “What the hell…?” she mumbled, ice eyes flicking from the phone to the man’s face. This was her mother’s number— and it certainly sounded like her. Now that he mentioned it however, she saw the same cheekbones and eyes that she recognized from her mother. “So…you’re my uncle? Why the hell haven’t I heard about you before?”
With a shrug, Ian put his phone back into his pocket quickly after shutting it off. "You know, I could ask you the same thing about yourself," He started, buttoning up the rest of his jacket. "'Rene is... Your mother is secretive, you know that. She doesn't like when two streams get crossed. Her nightmare and her daydream, it seems. Although in this case, I'm not sure who is who."

"No. The answer is no."
"Oh, you love to just burst my bubble, don’t you? Why the no this time?"
"Care to enlighten me on your definition of dinner, then?"
"Well... I wish I could tell you that we'd be leaving the house, but I don't tell white lies. And if I told you we'd be leaving the bedroom, then I'd be lying as hard as the devil would let me."
"My flat," Jim said with a gesture towards the door, "My rules.”
"Oh, don't be a spoilsport." Ian responded flatly before cracking the smallest of smiles, taking a step forward. "Learn to joke around a bit, mh?"
"Try a few meters to your left. I’m sure the view is just as nice.” Jim replied, keys shifting in his hand.
Ian shrugged only once before doing as he was told, taking a step to his left. "Why should I be listening to you in the first place?"
"No. The answer is no."
"Oh, you love to just burst my bubble, don’t you? Why the no this time?"
"Still not hungry and offering a different restaurant hasn’t changed my mind."
"How long will it take you to realize that I'm not offering dinner?"
❝ & i’d doubt i’d have trouble recalling YOURS, dear… ❞
"How sentimental. And here I was, thinking you'd stopped the sentiment act."
"No. The answer is no."
"Oh, you love to just burst my bubble, don't you? Why the no this time?"

"Are you breaking up with me?" "Are you having nightmares again?" "Anything you want to say?" "Apparently, I need to grow a mustache." "Balloons? Really?" "Be quiet!" "But what if we get caught?" "Can you not?" "Care to tell me what’s going on?" "Come find me." "Did you even love me?" "Did you ever stop to think about how I feel?" "Don’t look at me like that." "Don’t touch me." "Do you love him/her?" "Do you love me?" "Everyone leaves." "Eviction notice. It’s an eviction notice." "Fine, I’ll go." "Finally!" "Fight me for it." "Fuck it." "Get away from me." "Gotcha!" "How high are you?" "How did you get here?" "I bought a goat." "If what we had was real, how could you be fine?" "I get that you wanted to come up with the plan, but your plan is stupid." "I hate you." "I’ll bet you a dollar." "I said that I’m in love with you." "I think I’m pregnant." "I’m going to kill you." "I’m not eating that." "Is that a chicken?" "It’s not that I think your cooking is bad! It’s just … Not that good." "Jokes on me, huh?" "Just friends?" "Just let me go." "Just tell me the truth!" "Kiss me." "Kicking someone is not a form of romance." "Let me explain." "Listen, it was a completely innocent gesture." "Maybe you should go." "Maybe fuck you will be our always." "May need you to bail me out of jail." "Miss you." "No. The answer is no." "Not drunk enough for this." "Never, ever doing that again." "Okay, I know this looks bad…" "Please don’t." "Please stop talking." "Personally, I’d rather make out with a cactus." "Quick, I need you to bring me a bottle of bleach." "Quiet! Someone’s going to hear." "Quit being annoying." "Really, where were you?" "Right. Of course it’s my fault." "Silly of me to think you actually cared." "Simple? Brushing my teeth is simple. This? This is not simple." "So… How’s the weather?" "Tell me you didn’t steal someones dog." "There’s something wrong with you." "This definitely isn’t what it looks like." "Us? There is no us." "Unable to process the stupidity of what you just said. Sorry." "Unfortunately, she/he said no." "Very cute." "We can’t do this." "Was it just a lie?" "Wait, what did you just say?" "Wait! Hold on!" "Who the hell is passed out in the driveway?" "What the hell?" "Why are you naked?" "Why is there silly string everywhere?" "Why is there a frozen turkey in the bathtub?" "Without you, I’m lost." "X-Rays? What the hell did you do and why didn’t you tell me?" "You broke up with me. There’s nothing left between us anymore." "You’re leaving? But it’s taco night…" "Zebras have nothing to do with this conversation." "Zelda is more important right now."

"As lovely as it is to see a pretty face, you’re kind of in my waay…”
"Apologies, then. Do I need to move, or can I admire the view from somewhere else?"
”I don’t know….I suppose so”. For a moment she just stared at the hand, as if it was going to leap up and bite her — or strange her (which was incredibly unlikely, but still, you never could tell with people in London). “Adler?” The name was familiar, but distant somehow. Strange. “Molly - Molly Hooper. It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr Adler”
"Don't be so hesitant, chère. I'm not going to hurt you," With a mischievous smile on his face, Ian pulled her hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to the back of it - almost as if to prove his statement. "The pleasure is all mine, you know. But what brings you here so late, amour?"
