I feel calm today. Still empty, but calm.
Isn’t it nice there are some people , even though you see them years later , they would still know you a lot more than others and you feel as if someone still remembers all these lost places within you , it makes you nostalgic and you feel a part of your soul is safe somewhere no matter how far you go .

R. C. Gorman ~ Navajo Painter
Native American Navajo painter, printmaker and sculptor. The style that he developed stemmed from his experiences in Mexico and reveals the influence of his teachers as well as that of the Mexican muralists. He maintained a studio and gallery for his own works and those of other Native American artists in Taos, NM.
Artist Zaria Forman brings awareness to important environmental issues through her breathtaking pastel drawings. Forman spent September 2013 in the beautiful Maldives, the lowest and flattest country in the world. She found inspiration there to create a new body of work that would shed light on a nation that could be entirely underwater within this century.

Jardin fleuris is a series representing the different ages of a woman. The first picture is called Virgin Soil, the second is called Mûres which means both “blackberries” and “mature” representing puberty and first periods, the third picture is called Broken Eggs. Broken eggs represent the loss of virginity in arts. The fourth photo is called Blossom in the Garden and represents a mother with her inner fertile garden.
