Can Someone Explain “The Left” to Me?

In order to win the mid terms, Democrats don’t need to convince Democrats to vote for them, they need to convince the Independents.  These would be the same Independent voters that in a national backlash against “the left” voted Donald Trump into the White House.  Do the Democrats honestly believe that their vitriolic outrage over an unsubstantiated, 35 year old accusation, of a teenage boy, in the hormone raging midst of puberty, acting badly, really the best way to convince those same Independents that theirs is the better party?

Keep in mind that one of Trump’s very vocal campaign platforms was nominating a Supreme Court that could overturn Roe... and he won!  And he got a significant number of women voters on that platform.  

But even if we give the Dems the benefit of the doubt, and say that Kavanaugh is guilty of all Dr. Ford says he is.  Kavanaugh’s record of empowering and advancing women since then is both exemplary and undisputed.  Would this not the model of a man learning from his terrible mistake and spending the rest of his life working to correct it?  Do the Democrats not recognize that it is very likely reasonably minded voters will see it exactly that way?

And here is what truly blows my mind; the Democrats have EVERYTHING to lose here.  I think that Trump has very already won a second term.  The DNC still doesn’t have either a strong national candidate, or clear message other than “we hate Trump”, and that campaign tactic was a colossal fuck up the last time they tried it.  Probably their most qualified candidate is Elizabeth Warren, and I have to ask, Why on Earth would Elizabeth Warren run?  Given the both catastrophic and utterly humiliating defeat of Hilary Clinton in an election that she was all but guaranteed she would win, why would Warren risk everything she has worked for all of her life, billions of dollars, and complete humiliation on running against Donald Trump?  She would have no more guarantee of victory than Hillary did, and her defeat would be even more disgraceful.  Why would she risk that when she could just sit back for four more years and run against Mike Pence?  Anybody the DNC puts up in 2020 has got  be a sacrificial lamb.   

So why wouldn’t the DNC play the “Look how reasonable we are Americans” card with a Justice that is so CLEARLY qualified, and who has a record of supporting women?  It could ONLY help them in the mid terms!  If the Dems lose the mid terms, and Trump wins in 2020, then he will end up seating another conservative Justice, and liberalism will be all but dead in this country for the next 40 years! 

Can somebody explain to me why the Left doesn’t see that?

Can the “Feminists” out there answer a few simple questions?

It seems that of late every faux feminist out there has jumped on the Roe vs. Wade Apocalypse bandwagon.

First of all, IF Roe v Wade were overturned, that would not make abortion illegal, and anybody who tells you that, is a LIER.  Any politician that says that to get your vote is knowingly manipulating you.

All overturning Roe v Wade does is say that it is not a right guaranteed by the US Constitution.  And it is Not!

So, my first question is: if the abortion rights cause is so just, why is it necessary to tell lies to protect it?

If Roe were overturned, then abortions rights would then be dropped from the Federal level, down to the states, where the citizens of each state will then have a say as to whether or not they wish to make abortion legal or illegal in their community.  

So, My second question is: If pro-choice advocates are fighting for the rights of all women, then why do they fear a popular vote on the subject when the electorate is approximately 52% women?

Whether you are for or against abortion; if you are a thinking person, then these questions deserve legitimate attention.   In this post I am in no way no way supporting or opposing the issue of abortion.  I am simply pointing out that there are some significant problems with a cause that those on the left side of the spectrum wield as a lightning rod for their movement>  And if your movement has that many holes in it, it might be time to start reconstructing the whole thing.

The Left is in BIG Trouble!!!!!!

I think Donald Trump has Already won in 2020.

In the 2016 campaign, Trump ran on “Let's Make America Great Again!”  he talked about lowering taxes, bringing jobs back, immigration, NATO, North Korea... etc.

The Democtaric platform was largely “Trump is an Ass-hole!” 

So... Trump won.  He won 30 of the 50 states.  And he didn’t just win the Presidency, he won the house and the senate, The majority of state governors, and in just a few more weeks, Republicans will have won the Supreme Court for the next 30 years.

So, since the campaign... The Democrats seem to have largely doubled down on their “Trump is an Ass-hole” tactic.  Additionally, the two states most likely to help a more moderate Democrats into power, have gone even farther left!  New York ousted one of the most powerful Dems in Congress and replaced him with a card carrying teenybopper socialist!  And California has declared itself a “sanctuary state”, and literally made it illegal for both law enforcement and American citizens to assist the federal officers in apprehending illegal alien fugitives.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Trump is one by one successfully (or at least partially successful) ticking off the campaign promises that he made.  NATO countries have agreed to pay their fair share, NK’s have come to the table, taxes have been cut, the economy is strong, unemployment is the lowest its ever been, consumer confidence is very high, and the Americans that voted for him are truly feeling GREAT again!     

Keep in mind, if Donald Trumps wins a second term, he will seat at least one, and possibly two more supreme court justices.   Ginsberg is currently 85, and Brayer is 79.  A Supreme Court with 6-7 conservative justices will render any Democratic President or Congress impotent of for almost the entire lives of anybody old enough to read this post.  

The Democrats have EVERYTHING to lose in this election!!!

So... Who could the Dems run?

Joe Biden?  While well liked and respected, after losing with a woman, returning to an old white man would be something that the far, and vocal left would never accept.

Bernie Sanders?  He will be 80 by 2020.  All the policies that the young left got so excited about would take more than one term to implement in even the best case scenario.  And oh yeah, he’s an old white guy.  

Cory Booker or Kamala Harris?  They have the right minority identities to make the far left happy, but they are both much farther left than the extreme left Hillary Clinton represented and the voters rejected.  And remember, Trump is currently doing a pretty good job in the eyes of those voters.  

But what about Elizabeth Warren?  

Hillary Clinton had, without a doubt, one of the best resumes to become POTUS.  She had worked her whole life towards that goal, and in the end, she was HUMILIATED by Donald Fucking Trump!  And now, despite her life's work, that is what she will be remembered for.  

Why would Elizabeth Warren gambel hundreds of millions of dollars and the reputation of being the second woman to lose to Donald Trump, when she can just sit back for another four years, play the reasonable anti-Trump Democrat and then run against Mike Pence in 2024?

Now, before someone tries to attack me as a Trump supporter, I am not!  I am a supporter of the President of the United States and I am a supporter of common sense truth.  In my ideal world, Tulsi Gabbard would run in 2020.  

While Gabbard is a Democrat and I absolutely am not!  I do respect her.  She is a women so the Left will like her.  She has opposed Hillary when Hillary was wrong and supported Trump when he was right, so the Independents will like her.  She served in the military in a forward combat area, and continues as an active reservist, so conservatives will at least respect her.  She is a practicing Hindu so she will get the attention of religious minorities.    She was one of the first Dems to meet with Trump after the election, so Trump respects her, and the far right will have to acknowledge her attempts to work together.

Can anybody explain the Third Reich... (sorry I meant third wave) Feminism Movement to me? 

As an outside, non member of this cult, this appears to be a movement that is largely best at selecting some form of bad example, attempting to polish it with... I don’t know... mythical unicorn poop?  and present it as a shining example of the undeniable righteousness of their cause.  

Some shining examples of this are:

Portraying Hillary Clinton as a champion of women's causes when she has absolutely no record of championing women's causes that didn’t benefit her directly, and worked to silence and discredit the women that were actual victims of her preditory husband.  

The supposed “War on Women”

Donald Trump ran a campaign on a clearly stated platform of overturning Roe v. Wade, and got nearly 50% of the women's vote.  If there is a War on Women, it’s largely being waged by... women.  

And my all time favorite... “A Day Without Women”

While there is no doubt that a day without women would cause an enormous inconvenience; any thinking person would then have to compare that to what it would be like to have... 

A Day Without Men

We are talking about world wide economic collapse and utter chaos.

Consider one day without:

Air, sea or land shipping

Law enforcement

Firefighters/paramedics

Water/sewer infrastructure

economic trade

Doctors/Surgeons

These issues, with their faulty logic, contrary or non-existent evidence, are the issues they highlight!

It makes me wonder; at what point does a sane, rational, responsible person take a look around them and say, “This makes no sense, and has been a terrible waste of my life!”?  Or is it just better to close your eyes to the truth, keep pretending that the obvious is otherwise, and protect the image you have of yourself?

I had an appointment at the doctors yesterday, and the girl at the desk who got my chart ready had a really nice rack.  You could tell that her tits were just a little bit too big for her frame, but not overly so.  You could see that they stretched the fabric of her scrubs in the chest area in both the front and along the back.  

It was a really pretty sight and I “admired” her as much as I could get away with.  It’s a shame that our society has become so puritanical that a man can’t pay a woman compliment on her tits (or her ass, or her legs or her figure... or anything else for that matter) without everybody just losing their minds.   

I am quite positive that I was not the only person that has noticed what a really nice set of tits she had and felt bad for her that she was born into a postmodern feminist world where she has been prohibited from receiving all of the compliments and appreciations, her body so richly deserved.
